My way to stop 26king

Featured Replies

The simplest way to stop 26king is easy, have a ge value be checked with what the person you killed is risking. the max of the random items is rerolled until they are = to or under it. o_o Say..

Person 1 has 76k

Person 2 has 26k

Person 2 dies to person 1

Person 1 loots bronzed dragon claws, iron dagger P+ and 5 mantas.

BUT person 1 has 5m, Person 2 has 76k, kills person 1.

Person 1 drops 23 rune knives, 25 d bolts (e) a granite shield and a rune plateskirt.

.-. What do you think?

I don't really get the gist of this. However, if you're saying that drops should be on-par with the amount risked, this would make PK'ing useless. As part of PK'ing is risking little value in gear, yet maintaining a high yield from kills.

Try to explain yourself a little more clearly :P

I mean for your opponent risking 26k would mean you get 26k or under as a trop,

If your foe risks 1m youll get a drop 1m or under

Having some higher drops is necessary to balance out all the terrible drops. A better system would be capping it at, say, 4x your opponents loss, meaning if you killed someone who lost 25k you could get up to 100k, 250k 1m, 1m 4m, ect.

Pvp is already ruined. it's full of d clawers, rushers, And 26kers. If you actually kill someone thats risking a fair amount, youll get more.

So... In other words, lets ruin PVP.

QFT. This idea just screws up real pkers even more.

Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

How? So they can kill some noob thats risking 26k and then get a 5m drop? Not like old wildy which people cry and whine for.

Wouldn't this make it extremely easy to RWT?

Because, a combination of your system AND a chance at fail drops anyway, would mean PVP couldn't really be profitable by any stretch of the imagination.

PVP isnt even that profitable now (if you pk for real).

O.O

No, it allows RWT, which was the whole point of having all these PvP updates.

euh, it is now easier to RWT... He means that the drops should be LOWER or the same as the amount of the one that is dieing. so if you think normally you can handle the same system but then with the prices adjusted so they will never be higher then the amount of money the opponent has...

THIS.

Thank you! someone understood me <3:

I did understand you, and the system would fail.

why? I think this is better. So that there will not be more money in the system by pking, only less money. No friends killing eachother for a massive amount of money because they lose less then the other gets, now they lose more then the other gets.
