Our one and only maxed, extremely rich player Olly is unbanned from RuneScape! Was he ever banned on TIF? Although it was horrible that he ever be banned in the first place, it has taught us some important lessons. Lesson 1: First on our list of lessons is that it doesn't matter whether or not you break the rules, as long as you have high stats, lots of money, and lots of fans *cough* friends. So, everyone, let's go get maxed stats and sell them and GP, even though our wonderful game developers almost "ruined the game" (in some peoples' opinions) trying to stop just that! It'll all work out fine in the end. Lesson 2: The second of our lessons requires us to reflect upon our own values, and how we consider authority in our daily lives. Here to help us with this reflection is our wise (and also maxed player) Gigatiran! No most of the rules on this game are bs. If people want to sell money, let them, they are going to do it anyway. Offensive language? Get over it, the game isn't for kids anyway. Giga, who we should quite obviously value's opinion, believes that we should pick and choose the rules as we go, and abandon any that don't comply with our personal interest. Please everyone, give thanks to the lovely miss Giga for showing us this valuable method of play. So, with those two powerful revelations aside, let me take you to the true intention of this thread, and let us all remember back to the story of a tragic friend. He who made us all giggle with joy in his presence, he who made children smile and babies stop crying, he who led the Jewish people to salvation out of the desert and then again in WWII. He who has suffered a much similar fate to beloved Olly, although in this community, and not RuneScape itself, but who has not been freed. [hide=The one, the only...][/hide] A five year old wrong, recently learned of and still being paid for, likely to be overlooked if it were by anybody else, and an extremely recent felony, however, one that JaGEx was willing to make monumental changes to prevent... It is no lie that Olly is your friend and mine, but also was not this poor soul? Why, for lack of evidence except for partial word by his own mouth should he still be exiled from our ranks, likely never to be allowed reentry into the glorious halls of Tip.It Forums? Is it because he is not as indefinitely skilled as Olly? Because his pockets do not swell with wealth as Olly's do? Because he has not the sheer volume of followers as does Olly? What is it that allows us to overlook Olly's possible wrongdoings, but not his as well, although Olly's could be considered so much more heinous, were they true?
