Less glitches and bugs with updates or tweaks would be nice too.

 

 

 

Less pvp updates and more updates to the rest of the game and skills would be a nice change as well.

Well, there was MA and the clan game tools as well.

 

Though pre-GE almost every update was combat based, with a (usually combat based) quest and a small skill tweak to break it up. All they did was switch it around from general combat to PvP, the area that they broke the most with their crusade.

 

The economy is volatile because the limits they placed to prevent price manipulations made it easy for pump and dump schemes that Jagex refuses to address. It's scamming, but this time it affects everybody.

 

 

 

Though through all this, the areas I played never changed too much. I'm not a PvP'er, I lack the patience for merchanting, and I try to be as self-sufficient as I can, so I came out of the fixes almost unharmed.

 

 

 

The economy always was open to the kind of wild swings before. It's far more open now though. 'Merchants' visibly hoard new items rather than quietly, any Jagex statement is grounds for speculation (There is no difference to the robin hood hat incident years ago to the broken axe one today)

 

 

 

Though it seems like you're now just ranting about change in general, rather than the year of upgrades. You are right that there are problems now, as each time Jagex breaks PvP everyone suffers.

There is a first time for everything, and today marks the first time I'm going to tear up a ranter with my same opinion, but whom I can't stand.

I think it was when I kind of spurred the creation of a new forum-based religion.

First off, complete waste of space. Second, if you prefer scamming, been completely disoriented when you first played, and been abused for asking simple questions/getting screwed by scammers/having bots steal your [cabbage]/all the bad things in rs2 before the updates, then you are quite...well...[cabbaged].

 

 

 

Don't agree ESPECIALLY with your agility topic. Agility is heaps better at 99 then it was before the rest update. Your rest option fills up MUCH quicker, you barely use any run, so finally, FINALLY, level 50-99 agility has a use. Saying there is no use for it now deserves a slap across the face. *slap*. People were training agility before the rest update, they'll train it after the rest update. You hate the skill, don't train it then. Honestly, the only thing I agree with is your economy post, but its not completely going to hell. It could be MUCH worse.

Why would people be ripping on quests? That's one of the redeeming factors of Runescape is the quests.

 

 

 

If someone's ripping on quests saying they're easy, I dare them to try Ratcatchers. :twisted:

Not really difficult, just pointlessly frustrating.

like mep2! once jagex made the blood talisman tradeable, you didn't have to do all that crap for the dwarf to get one. now you just go in there -.- if you did the quest before that, you know what i'm talking about. it wasn't SO bad because the ge had freshly come out.

 

 

 

by the way ratchet- didn't say you were ripping on quests. it was a general statement pertaining to the argument
