Featured Replies

currently I have 10m to spend on slayer EQUIPMENT.

I do not have torso

I have void (range)

I already have zerker ring, whip, fury, and D boots

I have legends cape

I hate barrows armor

I have rune defender

I have slayer helmet

Any suggestions?

Black Mask/Slayer Helmet (if you can use the latter).

Yeah, you hate barrows armour, but just friggin' get it. Guthan's is a good set, however, is less useful when you have a Bunyip. Personally, I prefer the Bunyip + Torag's Plate and Legs combo.

Get a Whip and Dragon Dagger (posioned or not, it matters not) along with a Dragon Scimitar.

Rune plate and legs. Even if you hate barrows you really have no other/better options... well within your price range.

Yeah i know. been using rune plate and legs for ages. Looks so ugly w/ Slayer helm. onyl thing that looks good wiht it is bandos >.<

buy a god platebody of some kind if you don't like the plate...dragon plateskirt (it's lighter and cheaper...unless you REALLY care about looks).

Granite bodies are super cheap and have better def than rune if I'm not mistaken...

This.

Barrows armor gets a bad rep for having to be repaired.

I've been doing slayer for the last week in my torags and karils (depending on the assignment), and I finally had to repair it today. Know how much it cost me to fix both sets? 130k. Seriously. I can make that much money (or more) in drops on just about any task I get.

Get barrows, it's worth it. :twss:

Unless you have OCD like me and hate having different armours at different stages of degrading, barrows is your only option until you have 25+mil, and you really shouldn't even get bandos until you have a bit more spare in your bank. But if you're that concerned about looks just save up until you can afford bcp, that and a d skirt goes well with the slayer helm.

For your level I'd say:

(melee)

-Slayer helm

-Fury

-Torag top/legs (you may hate them, but best bang for the buck)

-Obby shield (defender for lower lvl tasks) and cape

-Dragon boots

-Zerker ring

-Whip

If you have the charms...get 68 summon for bunyip...well worth it for slaying.

newge4.png

get a fire cape, RFD gloves, d legs and chain or body if you so hate barrows. Also, make sure you have a weapon specially for the spec if you are using whip as your main weapon (as you should).

Slayer helm

Fury

Obby Cape (I fail at Jad)

Rune Defender (not used obby shield for so long that I sold it)

Whip or leaf bladed sword

Torags top

Veracs Skirt (nice defense nice prayer bonus)

Barrows gloves

Ring of Wealth

Dragon Boots

Barrows armour (top and bottoms atleast) is worth every penny. With 50 smithing and a armour stand at your house its less then 10k per full hour of combat.

[hide=Drops]

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8
    Seercull
    Dragon Med
Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

You've listed what you do have, so i'd use that 10 million to buy a dragon armour set... I mean, you have whip/fury, cape etc.. Buy d chain/plate and legs/skirt then i think you're good to go. Use bones to peaches tables for tasks including monsters that drop bones, and you dont need guthans.
