August 2, 200916 yr Very well thought out point but do you mean to tell me out of 90 people constantly returning for 13 hours straight, one person had the power to change the tide of the war? For that's my point, whereas you chose to take it that morale didn't play a role. Which...is not what I meant to say at all. Morale plays a huge role, but in pvp run-ins, one person won't change that. You could then say that a group of people, say an exceptional SWAT team, could change the tide but I thought this topic was about the individual?
August 2, 200916 yr well for matched opts, one person is a huge difference for eg. if we got 20 and the other clan got 19 because of one person, then we would probably win and got 1man advantage. The Neggas Clan since 2nd August 2009 <3Fishy pot -99strength99attack99cook99fletch

So you're saying a fresh guy with all 50 of his rune sets still in his bank not help turn the tide of the war, while everybody else is on their last few sets of rune, with many of them quitting due to the money lost? That one person is like Canada finding a huge oil deposit in the north in these oil strapped times. It pretty much means that one person can outlast everyone that is still left in the war, due to him having lots of resources. After ANOTHER 5 hours, I wouldn't have been too surprised if that one person would have been the only person left returning.
August 3, 200916 yr yea one can make a difference because if the leader is not here then it will be hard : Forums l Memberlist R.I.P. DVProud to be Leader of Divine Vindicators

And then what did that change, that one person returning while all of the other parts of the team gave up? Not a whole lot, if at the end of the day, he was the last one returning.

However, if the person is very well known within the clan, he can use teamspeak to pump people up. Generally it happens with leaders but I can think of several cases where we have been losing a fight, a regular member has arrived and pumped us all up to victory. August 15, 200916 yr Its not a 1 man show it needs a teamwork Leaders are only effective when clan members are good and organised so i say 1 man cant make a differce in events it needs whole team-work tbh we(tpr) sucked, failed pull and failed performannce and I almost dc every 3 secs thats why I had to snipe then when I tanked I went out of bounds sorry. Sorry about the masssniping too we were so crap that in the end no one was calling and everyone was making their own thing.
August 17, 200916 yr not to ego but alot of ill members said that we won vs tk thanks to my speech. person who won the most awards: GeneraldesorRETIRED
August 17, 200916 yr Depends on the type of war/importance of this person. If it was a 10v11 then it will probably have an effect but if it was 20v19 it shouldn't really effect much. The importance of the person such as a fallin leader other than that no. Organization should win it in 20v20s not numbers. Forums- http://s1.zetaboards.com/Knights_of_Order/index/
August 19, 200916 yr depends, if they have 99str/att or 90+range/mage, there tanking ability etc. depends on what that person brings to the clan http://rs-downfall.com Join the Community, if you're already in a clan register and become a clan friend!Downfall Since September 6, 2008
