Thief's Bracers - Sugestion

Back, some time ago, a poster by the name of Rouge Celt (Who I hold as one the Greatest people who used the RuneScape Disc & Suggestion Board (In Scapeboard and this incarnation) he was great at posting well thought out and presented ideas.) but enough about him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is an idea which I am basing on a idea that he thought up. So credit goes to him on that, I'll just give abit of a background of the Idea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any monster that could drop gems, when dropping a Sapphire, they have a 1/8 Change of dropping a 'Ivory Coin', Emeralds are 1/6, Rubys, 1/4 and Diamonds 1/2 Instead of the Gem. Also Mysterious Boxes and Caskets may also give them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sir Radimus Erkle from the Legends guild is a advid collector of these 'Ivory Coins' and will trade rare items for these.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some of the items that Rouge suggested were things like these :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(Before Armour Boots were released)

 

 

 

Greaves

 

 

 

20 Coins

 

 

 

+10 Slash, Stab, Crush, Range Defense

 

 

 

-5 Magic Defense

 

 

 

-5 Magic Attack

 

 

 

Weigh 7kg

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and many other good and well thought out items. They were also untradeable, and if you were to die and lose them, you could rebuy them from Sir Radimus Erkle for half the price you orginially paid for them, and then decreasing (Much like the Crystal Bow/Shield Price) untill they are worth a minimum of 5 Ivory Coins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But enough of that, here is MY idea.

+2 Slash, Crush, Stab Defense

 

 

 

Weigh 0kg

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

when Equiped, all interactions that involve thieving (Searching for traps on chests, walls, pickpocketing NPC's, picking locks) these all become a Left click option, much like picking the Master Farmers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If I get a positive feed back, I'll continue to think up more ideas, and of course, all credit goes to Rouge for the wonderfull Idea in the first place, that gave me the ground to think this idea up.

good idea about the theifs braces, but maybe also put a theiving requrement on them, like 60 or something, so you cant jsut have it easy from the begining, you have to work hard to be able to use them
