my planet ([duh....]) resides in the [duh....] system, it is populated by humans. it is awash wish propaganda and other such things to keep the people in place. there are four main cultures.

 

Seeyan: Four Million

the Seeyan is the largest culture on [duh....] and is mainly mongoloids and worshop the monolith of Hex, the monolith of hex is a large statue which gives diffrent orders to the people of the world which is controled by the government. they are pure capitilist and most of the uneducated people are put to work in workhouses (known as improvement places to the general populous)

Jaar Four Million

Jaar still worship Hex but they worship a diffrent monolith, they are heavily into body modification and are. they are mainly negroids. they are a respectful and calm society and follow two rules 1. Calm 2. Steady

Ex 0.3 Million

Chosen, these people are the governments inner circle, they are diffrent races and are bound by no strings, they can take extreme libertys over people and are supposed to keep there title slightly secret. they do not worship hex as they know he is a personification of the government

Rebels 1.7 Million

People who oppose government, Sent to workhouses on sight, if they rebel this they are executed without trial.

The next stage in the world was what could only be called another Age of Colonialism, with every country expanding its borders and gobbling up its neighbours, either through diplomatic or military conquest. Tensions rose over Germany's fast expansion yet again.

 

The stage was set for more conflicts though, and soon enough a fourth world war was sparked. Germany was ready, though, and had prepared a labyrinth of defenses stretching all across the empire, the result being that no one wanted to commit troops to attacking, as it would be a horrendously costly affair. The war was brought to a close with a shaky treaty signed by Germany which stated it would not conquer any more countries through military might. Diplomatic conquest continued, however.

 

The remaining years have been peaceful, aside from a quick bout with Findenland, who's government had managed to get controlled by a maniacal tyrant who wanted to unleash a deadly virus on the world. Long story short, Findenland doesn't exist anymore, due to a combined effort of pretty much every country.

 

Germany was renamed to Germania which was then renamed to Europa which is now The Terran Federation. It is currently one of only a few democracies in the world.[/hide]

Alright then, I have begun a race-changing project. I'm calling it Project Freon.

 

This will be a HPE experiment (Hidden from the Public Eye) until it's completed, and even then only the results will be published.

 

Should take 10 years and about 9 billion overall. Results are.... well, unpredictable.

 

Also, in order to fund this project, the motor project and the shield project have been temporarily stalled, and taxes have been increased to 17.5%.

 

Edit: Oh, backstory. Well, Iceland became its own nation through a non-violent revolt involving alarm clocks and sabotage. After this, we became a part of the EA and have since begun development on the New Hope space station and the Mini-Hope FTL ships. The New Hope Space station currently orbits Earth in an unfinished state, but when it IS finished, it will be orbiting the Sun in the asteroid field, occasionally sending mining parties onto the larger asteroids. The Mini-Hopes are mainly going to be used a couriers for said mining expeditions, but will also ferry dimplomats and people moving from Iceland to New Hope. New Hope will be the capital of my galactic nation, which will be called Napta. Iceland will simply become a colony of Napta once New Hope is complete and moved into place. Napta also intends to remain a part of the EA.

Well, I have to do it cheaper. Iceland doesn't exactly have 50 billion to blow on race-changing. And if you want to do something cheaper, that means it will usually take longer.

Well I don't intend for it to be a severe race change. No people turning into rocks or anamorphic jellies or anything like that.

Dusty, I don't think there is because i've never seen any reach it or reach it myself. also no probs for the tech sharing.

It's currently Iceland, it will be renamed Napta once the New Hope station is up and running, and the New Hope station will be the capital. Just for clarification. ;)

 

Also, you people are just too darn generous. I intend to return that generosity once Napta has gained a bit more funding. (Since I sure as heck won't be able to return the gesture while my country's still Iceland.)

 

Well, since I now have $50B more, I un-stall those two projects and feed a bit more funding into the Freon project. Freon now is costing me $2b/yr and will take 15 years, hopefully with more results.

 

Edit: I intend for a good deal of my population to remain human. And I'm not entirely sure what my scientists will come up with, but I know they'll make it good.

 

(Basically, I have an idea (sort of) but it's still a little foggy, and I want to get the project going now so that I don't have to start it later.)

I would let you blag a ship to claim a planet, but unfortunately, my ships don't have life support.
