Germany is working to restore power in the area, and an additional 300,000 troops have been deployed to France to combat the resistance.

 

That small Faraday cage has to be able to store all the charge, yet be small enough to not affect a soldier. A largish EMP would still disable the chips, plus not all of them would have been built properly, due to the nature of mass production.

 

 

 

The blast would have to be so big that it would encompass most of Europe then, which I really don't think could be accomplished by a bunch of guerrillas and refugees in France...

Okay, any country with a competent leader at the head would realize that there are 3 major super-powers being born, and they would take any method possible to ensure the survival of their citizens and their way of life. That means that, geographically, Algeria and Morroco have more to gain by joining T4R then they do Brazil, who are too far to provide any meaningful support other than a token garrison of troops.

 

Also, the whole scare over Germany can only be used for so long to gain countries without violence. Eventually you'll have to conquer nations if you want to expand.

The 50,000 German troops that went to Russia for extreme weather condition guerrilla warfare returned a month ago, were equipped with the new anti-tank weapons, handheld SAMs, and non-perishable food and extreme condition gear, and have been sent to Greenland as its garrison. They have order to retreat into the heart of Greenland and continue guerrilla attacks and hold out for as long as possible should an invasion of Greenland take place by hostile forces.

 

The troops stationed on Iceland have dealt with the last vestiges on resistance on the island, and now hold complete control. Losses from the battle are totalled to 3000-4000 troops, leaving Iceland's garrison at 8000-9000. An additional 8000 troops have been sent to Iceland to reinforce the garrison and continue their training.

Not sure about China, but Mexico had a zombie infestation, and the USA destroyed itself to prevent further contamination of North and South America. Which is why Mexico currently has a population of around ~60, though its infrastructure is mostly intact. Any re-colonization and repopulation of Mexico would take a huge amount of time and resources, though.

They've been in research pretty much since since I gained Germany. This is nothing new.

 

Special forces troops make up around 25,000 of Germany's armed forces, and application to regular forces has only just begun. No where did I state that they all have them, much like nowhere near a majority have the new intergrated chips installed.

I left ~2Mil people in France on purpose. Yes alot of these people are dead, but not without sparking a French Rebellion. The combined efforts of the French rebellion (don't underestimate them because their French, they're pretty violent) and the Luxembourg survivors have made a great discovery. The German infintry (and now most of Russia's forces) are heavily reliant on computer ships correct? Germany even said that any damge sustained to the chip would inevitably melt the brains of his soldiers. Now, this being said: The French rebellion has begun setting and exploding charges near every local electrical transformer (which there are atleast two on every sub-urban block, look outside). When a transformer explodes it releases a large burst of an electro-magnetic pulse, rendering all elecronics useless. The blast radius is only about 100ft, but this sill certainly cause colateral damage to all chip infused soldiers.

They've been guzzling fuel with all those bombers, certainly they aren't using Australia uranium anymore :)

 

its not like every single one of my soldiers has en exosuit or brain chip; theres still enough that dont (and as such will be relatively unharmed by an EMP) to do a good amount of damage to/ take over a city. and an EMP will disrupt your own equipment aswell

Exactly. Besides, a transformer explosion is pretty damn intense. I realise that Not all soldiers were equipped with chips, but a large sum were, and the ones that weren't you (Germany) even admitted were barely trained militia men.

The melting of the chips would happen if they were the soldier was captured and someone tried to reverse-engineer the chips, not if damage was taken to them. Though I suppose over-working of the chips could melt them, but I can't see a situation where that would happen.

Russia is supplying me with most of my oil (most of my forces are unadorned infantry, so they use little oil as well), and my forces use little to no uranium since nuclear weapons have been removed.

T4R has halted nearly all of its advance, excluding the current attack taking place on Greece. New men are being taken in from Germany's new territories and being trained, but as of now the number 1 priority of German forces is the subdueing of militant and guerrilla fighters in occupied territories. 40% of Germany's air force has been devoted to this new duty, for picking out hidden guerrilla camps and lending support to forces under attack/on the offensive.
