I may be wrong, but I believe that these are test boards for phpbb2 skins. It needs to be updated to include test boards for phpbb3 skins.

I just saw this topic in the Announcements forum. It has a few links on there to forums moved from public viewing, so it needs to be updated. Also, some of the information is inaccurate such as the current signature size restrictions.

 

 

 

 

 

Also, I still feel that there needs to be a sticky in the Announcements, Rules, and Security Warnings forum with all the signature and avatar guidelines in one place. It can be tricky for users to find all of the current rules reguarding their signatures and avatars.

It would be helpful to have this image and this one in one topic for easy viewing. I have them saved to my desktop but I'm sure most users don't. If there was a topic for these images more people would be aware of the limits and there would be less confusion.

In terms of the moderator recruitment drive, that is definitely something that happens out of the ordinary, as such 99% of the time you can't apply to join the tipit forum staff. I would think that it isn't worth changing since that is usually the policy.

I agree that there should be a sticky containing all the signature/avatar information. I suggested that once too but nothing was done about it :(

 

 

 

As for the Moderator Recruitment Drive thread, that's really to prevent people from asking about how to become a staff member or begging to become one. As y_guy_4_life said, at least right now, we hold moderator recruitment drives what...? once every 2 or 3 years? And it has only happened twice. As it is not a regular, ongoing thing, it's better to leave the sticky as it is, I think. If we even added in "We do hold recruitment drives eventually" I'm sure we would get PMs from users asking when the next one was going to be, if we could please hold one now, blah blah blah.

It also needs to include the text limits and pokeplushy restrictions. Heck, I can't find the announcement stating the text limits anywhere in the Announcements forum.
