gorgoroth
Well last night i was thinking of switchng Slayer Masters from Duradel back to Sumona for a while. I thought this because as i remember Sumona used to give me alot of Banshees and Aberrant Spectres. These tasks were Pure Profit and they never took me very long. Since thats exactly what i'm looking for (to reach 85 Slayer as fast as possible while making a large-ish ammount of money), would it bebetter for me to go back to Sumona for my main Slayer tasks and then just to Duradel for my 10th? And please, i ask of you not just to say yes or no without a decet reason for sating so. Offer some advice on way you give your particular answer. Thank you in advance! **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
Lunar_Drifter
If that's what you enjoy, then yes, go for it. Duradel will give you more tasks of better quality in the long run, but I found Sumona to be quite reasonable. She tends to give large amounts of easily killed monsters, which is what you seem to be looking for. :) Retired Tip.It Mod || Admin and Founder of Caesar 3 Mod Squad! All are welcome! TubbyMcFee
Just as you said, Sumona's tasks are good for cash, and only slightly easier than Duradel's(most of the time  ) So yes, if you want profit and xp use Sumona.
Master_Smither
Summona offers a lot of tasks which you can cannon making her the faster master to use. If you don't cannon however I suggest you stick with duradel because his tasks realy arn't that bad except for a few which you can skip. He gives more of the task and the less time you have to bank and switch gear the faster you'll get 85. Cptbaker08
Its up to you really. If you like Sumona then stick to her. Duradel tasks do offer more exp per task though so Sumona might take you longer get to your level. She also has a lot more tasks that you can cannon which are nice. If you don't cannon though that really doesn't matter. Sumona also assign Turoth/Kurask and Duradel doesn't. Thats one of the reason i stick to Duradel because those tasks are a pain in my [wagon] to do. But Sumona also assigns red/blue drags which can make money if you collect and bank all the bones and hides. I also believe she doesn't assign mithril drags which area nice and fast task to do. When i did Sumona i also noticed that i was getting a ton of herbs that i normally use, such as irits, kwuarms, and ranarrs. Not a big lose, the amount of cannon balls you use is not too high and the fact that the tasks will take 15-30 minutes makes up for it. Im not really a big fan of dragons although i do enjoy the occasional Black Dragon task. If i do decide to stick with Duradel, which are some of his tasks i can Cannon whilst not making a huge loss? The tasks i cannon are Mutated Bloodvelds (requiring Legacy of Seergaze), Dags under the LH (only for now because i want fast slayer exp as opposed to gp), and Abberant Spectres. Mutated Bloodvelds drop tons of rune arrows, throwing knives, addy t-knives, and a load of runes and alchs. (I'm about to go on a task as soon as i get done writing this.) Dags are a fast task, i just did a task of 192 in roughly 20 minutes. Use about 1.5k cballs. I got a few charms and 1 snapdragon seed. Not much money made back. Spectres are one of the better tasks as they drop tons of herbs and seeds that can be used to help pay for the Cballs. You can either sell the seeds straight up or plant them and get a little more money to sell along with some farming exp. Now its not the task that i cannon that i get the money, but the tasks i do normally that gets me the money to cannon. A good drop from a Garg, Sp mage, or Abby Demon can pay for a high amount of Cballs i use. I also make money on the side thanks to MTK (and farming if i don't feel lazy) so this also helps with the cost of cballs. If you need help in game you can always ask for help. Just add me. Great_one
the reason i switched back to summona is because she has more variety. i love banshies and many other of her tasks but with duradel after i block my 4 i'm left with very few tasks that aren't super fast with low exp(goraks, miths, squas etc.) or tasks that are a pain in the but( gargs, t-birds, waterfiends, sometimes fires) and it just gets boring for me. i like moving around more. Nothing against you, but i'd like to point out that goraks, miths and squahs are small amounts assigned that can be easily done. Taking maybe 30-45 mins to do those tasks. Now would u rather spend the time and do them to get an easy 15 points, or waste 30 points blocking them? Also Gargs have very nice drops for such a small requirement. They area pain though as you need to hammer them. I have no experience on T-birds but i hear they are good exp. Waterfiends are one of the better tasks to do if you have 68+ summoning and 80+ combat stats. If you don't they tend to be annoying. Now fire giants aren't terrible bad, but they do take a while. You can also cannon those if you chose to. This wasn't really meant to offend you but to help the OP if he has some questions about these monsters as well. Also +1 Point count :D sure they all have their ups and downs but for the goraks, and miths(not necessarily the squas) what i don't like is that they are so short! i would kill for a 199 gorak task or a 35 mith task! gargs i have had 1 maul in 750 kills, and the hammer and cramped area in the ct make it hard to use a familiar effectively. waterfiends would be blocked if they weren't such a good task for crims. i personally will kill 2k without stopping of them off task but as soon as i get a number to kill it becomes a chore.(btw 83 summoning and all 90+ mellee) i like t-birds for the experience and drops but i hate the attention that needs to be payed all the time, especially with a cannon. and for fires they were horrible until the ct. and even then you have to watch it. over time they hit to hard for a bunyip, their drops are mediocre and they are large and hard to get a familiar around(unless you stand in the middle of the ct and get piled)
RayOxide
Summona offers a lot of tasks which you can cannon making her the faster master to use. If you don't cannon however I suggest you stick with duradel because his tasks realy arn't that bad except for a few which you can skip. He gives more of the task and the less time you have to bank and switch gear the faster you'll get 85. Yes funny enough i thought of the Cannon aspect of the situation aswell. Toad
The tasks sumona gives are good for money below 90 really but her tasks give a lot of green charms if you're after charms too pick duradel because more crimson if its xp sumona, personally I prefer duradel though. Ya, forgot to mention this as well. Sumona tasks mostly give you green charms which are horrible for summoning. I notice that while doing Duradel i get mostly crimson charms. I got about 740 crims since i got 88 summ all while using Duradel. Also got 515 golds, 255 greens and 45 blues. If using Duradel i hear that it is 0.8 summoning exp for every 1 slayer exp you get. For sumona it probably will be worse.
