Ever since the movie became popular and a "cool" thing to watch it has ruined it :oops: ....... I remember the times at school when even the teachers were quoting it and people were quoting the lines from the movie even though they had never seen it personally......thus they got everything wrong in their pathetic attempt to be funny.

i havent let popularity get in the way of what i think or do in years, until this movie. everyone liked it and doing what you said, quoting it and acting like people from it and everything. it disgusted me, so after everything died down one day i was thinking about what to rent, and i saw it there so i rented it. after i watched a movie that i KNEW was going to be bad because everyone ruined it, i found that i liked it :D .

I dont really care about popularity too much either, i just saw this as a continuation of last year (at least at my school) where there was just mad quoting of the line. Like you would walk by and someone would be saying "llama eat your bean food for dinner" :roll: .

yes it does get pretty [developmentally delayed]ed after the first 500 quotes.

I agree, i saw this movie when it was in theaters twice, because i thought it was hilarious and there was only like 2 people who saw it, then it came out on video and everyday i see a vote for pedro shirt, and now i just hate the movie, i cant even stand to watch it one more time.

There's one senior in my school who has THREE WEEKS worth of napoleon dynamite shirts.. ALL different

I loved the movie, but once someone goes overboard with the Napoleon, it's lame.

I liked the movie. And my opinion isn't changed no matter how many other people like the movie and no matter how much they quote it. But thats just me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Me personally I'm part of the Big Lewbowski club, I wear hippie clothes, say man almost every other word and drown my problems in white russians. In my opinion if you're gonna try and be like somebody in a movie might as well pick one that has good taste in alcohol.

I saw it when it was first out before anyone was crazy about it, and I thought it was hilarious, but now after all the quoting I don't think I could bring myself to watch it again.

napolean dynomite was funny the first 3 times I saw it, still is funny. The popularity bothers me a little b/c of lame jokes, but still a decent film. I don't really know anyone that's gone overboard with it.

I didn't think the movie was that great... And then, when everyone started quoting it incessantly... :x I lost a little bit of faith for the future of mankind.

The movie was good when I saw it (sneak preview passes), and for the rest of that week, until it was released "into the wild". Nearly instantly everyone was obsessed with it. Everyone was the #1 fan. It started to get on my nerves :x
