Tafkan
So, I figured I'd start levelling again, after a while, and decided I want to become a GWD tank. How high stats are recommended for that, and which gear should I start saving money for? Bassy
It depends on what God you'll be going to. If you want Bandos, I'd follow my stats as a template. Any tank needs a high Defence level, and depending on the activity a high Range or Magic level would be nice. Guthan's is a must for Bandos at least, and a high Summoning level (79+) is very helpful in GodWars. Tafkan
Well, I was specifically thinking of Bandos. I take it I'll want to have maxed defense and 90ish attack/strength then? Bladewing
Attack/Strength don't really matter too much, since your stats will be brewed down anyway. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
Tafkan
'Kay, thanks. Gonna buy a whip and start maxing out my defence then. testingsomestuff123
For Bandos (only boss I have any experience with :P ) Try get 90+ defence, a decent strength, and attack and get guthans. Maybe a bunyip or unicorn to heal.
Cptbaker08
For Bandos (only boss I have any experience with :P ) Try get 90+ defence, a decent strength, and attack and get guthans. Maybe a bunyip or unicorn to heal. I wouldn't use a bunyip. It has a slow healing rate (2 hp every 15 secs, 8 hp a minute) and as a tank you will take a lot of damage in one hit, so a bunyip wouldn't really cover it. Best thing would be a War Tortoise holding extra sharks/brews and when thats gone use either a Elemental Titan or a Unicorn. But once you use those it might seem that you are going to have to leave soon. Robert_R
If you want to tank bandos get your att/str to at least 80 or 85 and your defence to 90+. Use guthans and a war tortoise or a terrorbird, but the war tortoise is a lot better and you're close to 67 summoning anyway.
J35u5_M4
Eh...Bandos tank would require 90 Def, 80 pray, 69 Summoning... Pretty much every tank requires these skills
