Ok this is kinda a topic where I'm trying to make people stop posting WIP topics.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

WIP topics are meant for signatures that requires a lot of skill or just time. It's really annoying me that everyone is posting half of the signatures.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please only post your WIP when it is really WORK in progress. Not just half a guy without any background.

This is just a pointless topic, this is a media discussion so any sort of unfinished work should be welcome.. I wouldn't start mouthing of trying to be a one man debate on how wip's shouldn't be posted.. I agree a little, people dont need to post things such as 2 minute sketches that no one can tell anything about. just my opinion...

well i'd agree that little 2 minute drawings are too early to be posted but some people would spend ages trying to perfect a certain character which takes up a small part of a sig, and post it as a wip. I've only seen like 1 or 2 wips over the last 2 weeks that I thought shouldn't be posted.

Yeah ofcourse, i mean WIP's as your Halloween sig are worth posting. Just because there is some WORK in it.

Maybe you could show us all these WIP threads you think are so terrible that they do not deserve to be in the media board?

If you are finding that WIP threads are cluttering up the board too much, you can send in a private request to an admin to install a new board called something like "Media WIPs".

Oh and there are quite a few silly WIP's around these days. (Eg with only about 20 minutes work). I'm not saying that these people are bad artists, it's just that they should've worked on the WIP for atleast a goodly amount of time IMHO.

I think you should use some shading, and experiment with some more colours. Your line work isnt too smooth buy you have some talent. I hope to see more from you in the future.

Though I can't deny that there was virtually no effort put into the second thread, there was still a small (but helpful) critique given.. So the thread itself can be considered useful, even if the original post was pointless.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It doesn't matter too much though, all the almost useless WIP threads die quickly. Ironically, most of the replies in them will just be complaints about not having enough progress in the "W.I.P."
