swordknight7
I am going for 99 attack, and I train at armored zombies. I have BCP, d legs, d boots, rune def, explorer's ring, salve ammy (e), neitzenot helm, whip, and rune gloves. I just spent 5m to get to 70 pray, my attack is 86 and my strength is 77. I use super strength and attack potions. My problem is the low xp rate. I top out at 70k xp an hour, and 40-50k is average. What can I do for faster xp? I can't afford tassets, dfs, or a zerker ring right now. What should I do for faster xp?
Abc1230
First off... welcome to tif ^^ You can try finishing rfd for barrows gloves and getting a warrior/berserker ring YouTube
swordknight7
How much of an improvement do you think that would make per hour?
Abc1230
Maybe 1k more/hour :/ I don't really know =P Just a guess. The 100k/hour you keep hearing about is at 99 combat stats with the best gear YouTube
swordknight7
Lol but why would someone train there if they're already all 99s :P If I saved up for tassets, barrows gloves, beserker ring, and dfs, do you think that could give a sizable increase? Abc1230
The same reason anybody trains after 99, they like it =P... If you got better equipment, you probably would get a little bit more exp, but I would spend the money on something else if I were you :/ YouTube
swordknight7
Actually, that was what ive always wanted to have anyway :o Well, I guess I'll keep going on the grinding :/ And I meant why would they train after they got all 99's :P
manitstinks
all 99 except for defence + hp? u can probably use void but need protection prayer since you have low defence
JoeDaStudd
Void should add 5 to 10% more exp on average [hide=Drops]Dragon Axe x11Berserker Ring x9Warrior Ring x8SeercullDragon MedDragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kcGodsword Shard (bandos)Granite Maul x 3Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats][/hide]
Troacctid
Lol but why would someone train there if they're already all 99s :P If I saved up for tassets, barrows gloves, beserker ring, and dfs, do you think that could give a sizable increase? It's because the people who test this stuff had 99 already when they tested it, that's all. :geek: DFS would not help your xp rates anyway; the drop in attack from losing the rune defender isn't worth the +2 strength. Deltaer
You should really get your strength up a bit.. it'll make it easier to get that 99 in the long run. perfetc
You should really get your strength up a bit.. it'll make it easier to get that 99 in the long run. He uses super str pots so that doesn't really matter, watch me get flamed cos I "dissed" str. Dfs wont increase your exp/hour. Training slayer would be better though. ultimatballr
First off ditch the BCP, d legs and explorer ring. Void even with 99 defence + a bunyip I was still getting hit to much. Get Proselyte and a Warrior/Berserker ring (imbue it if you can be bothered) and USE PIETY (if not already) I got to 99 attack in about a week from 97. Maybe a week n a half with taking a few days off in the middle. I found Void to be better exp/hour since I spent less time running up and down the ladder and more time killing Zombs. ---- I will be honest with you I did not try out a BCP + Tassets but compared to Void I was getting better exp rates with Prossy. Apparently, my signature was to big.
Mh1456
Equipment doesnt matter as much as some other stuff ----> like make sure you're using your strength and attack prayers while training since theres an altar upstairs for free recharge, you're already useing potions which is good. The last thing that would help is get your strength up, this ofcourse will make you hit higher, maybe just get it to 80. Also wear the salve amulet from the Haunted Mine quest, itll make you hit harder on zombies.
swordknight7
I have 23 slayer lol... bunyips arent happening... and what is a good spot to train str at? And is sacred clay a good idea?
Technologic
Void should add 5 to 10% more exp on average Does void stack with Salve? If you don't mind the minigame, sacred clay armour helps alot. Just use the legs. Real men get 99 str on cows 8-).
