August 11, 200916 yr I will be honest, smelting steel bars is a waste of time. You are much better off selling the ores and super heating mithril bars, which are only a small loss and good magic and smithing experience.

August 12, 200916 yr Heres how I set up my inv if I remember right: N C C C C C M M M M M C C C C C C C C C C C C C C C P P N = natures C = coal M = mith ore P = placeholder, ie vials. Set up your spellbook using levels, which is the default setup. That way, the fifth mith ore will be where the superheat spell is, so you dont have to move your mouse. And it will always use the first mith ore available, so the last one never moves. N B B B B B P P That should be your ending inventory, so when you bank, withdraw mith ores first, so they will be at the right place for the next load, then store your bars, then withdraw coal. I believe that is the best inv setup for superheating.

Many think castle wars first, but the dueling arena bank has one click & a banker from whom you can collect stuff from GE, very useful.
August 12, 200916 yr I set my inventory up like this: M M M M M C C C C C M C C C C C C C C C C C C C C C N E Ending like this: B B B B B E E E E E M E E E E E E E E E E E E E E E N E M=Mithril C=Coal N=Nature runes E=Empty B=Mithril bar I had withdraw-x set to withdraw-20 for the coal. The mithril ore right under the superheat spell never gets banked or superheated. This way you just bank the mith bars, withdraw five mith ores and 20 lumps of coal. By placing the coal under your mith ores in bank you can withdraw them both quickly using mousekeys. I think this is a tiny bit quicker since you don't have to move between bank and inventory as much.
