August 13, 200916 yr Does someone know the cooking level at which you stop burning monkfish? (with cooking gauntlets) : "Practice makes perfect."
August 13, 200916 yr Author aww, ok thnx  I thought it was like 80-85 :P "Practice makes perfect."
August 13, 200916 yr Jagex hasn't officially stated which level you stop burning Monkfish at while using Cooking gaunts, but most players generally agree that it is around level 90.
August 13, 200916 yr It's 90. I tried at 88, with Gauntlets and was burning. From 90 - 94 I didn't burn a single one :)
August 13, 200916 yr The only fish it stops from burning early are lobsters, swordfish and sharks, they don't actually change the level that you stop burning them at (level 90). However, I still use, as I have nothing better to wear, and they may make you burn monks less, but I have no evidence to support this.

August 13, 200916 yr Unless there has been a hidden update the cooking gauntlets do NOT affect the burn rate of monkfish. I'm 99 fishing and cooking and have cooked my fair share of monkfish in my time. I still burned the odd few at higher levels.
