Michigander
Would it be possible for me to use a stew seasoned with Brown Spice (+6 Farming and some other stats) to start the quest and for the parts requiring the level 65 farming? According to the Zybez quest guide you can you stat boosters but it doesn't say which ones you can use. Nomone here has probably done this but if you have your post is greatly appreciated. :)
Jaffy1
I guess there's no harm in trying, although you could also just get some willow and orange (or if you're willing to spend a little more, pineapple and maple) trees to level up to 65. That shouldn't take too long if you just pay the farmers and do allotments and herbs (and flowers) as well. Personally what I did was just do a farming run every day for the fruit trees, and I've done a lot of oak trees (around 3,5 hours to grow) and cabbage-watermelons. My most recent level, from 65 to 66, took 2 days, so I guess that's around 25k xp in a day (this being without doing herbs and flowers, but merely harvesting while woodcutting). Michigander
Thanks for posting. I've already bought 59 in maples and pineapples which I should be done with tomorrow or having one pineapple tree left to plant tomorrow but I'm asking because I'd like to use that extra time to plant cheap trees like willows if you cant use the stew. My guess is you can but I'm mostly asking for confirmation from someone.

Michigander
Ok thanks since farming isn't used I guess it would work fine :D should knock down the herblore cost too
Kidd_Varrow
You do have to plant an enriched snapdragon seed, which I assume would require 62 farming, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to boost for that as well. I did it at 63 farming with a summer pie, so I can't say for sure whether or not you'll need to boost again at that point.
gspbeetle
Ok thanks since farming isn't used I guess it would work fine :D should knock down the herblore cost too Dont use the +6 stew for both skills, you have to somehow have 65 herblore and farming AT THE SAME TIME, in order to recieve the quest. I'd say, its better to train farming to 62, you dont need to click a lot and garden pie is something that is easy to get. Start buying papaya seeds now, it seems people are now dumping it  http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/Papaya_t ... 88&scale=1 Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)
Dax
+6 is like impossible, just get the farming level and boost for herblore form 60 or more. (I didn't see your Herblore level) #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
Returned3
Yes, you can use boosts to start the quest. My current farming level is only 62 and I used the stews to finish the quest. There are two parts which require the boosted levels, the start of the quest and the planting of the herb. What I did was have 10+ of the stew and tried my luck. (While standing beside the quest start point) I then kept drinking til my farming level was boosted enough and then I proceeded to speed through the conversation to start the quest. That is the tougher part, you can take your time for the planting part. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! Ingredients are easy to get and you only need 34 cooking for that. Examine ChenGMT (level: 138)

As for the stews, I have always been using them for the stat boosts. The +6 to a stat is not as rare as some of the users put it to be. So far, in one inventory (20+) I have always gottan the magical +6 for whatever quest I needed. 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! walka92
farming isnt a hard skill, really. took me just under a day to get 60-65 for it, planting yew trees. cost a bit, but the rewards of the quest more than made up for it FYI, i spent alot to make sure it went as fast as possible. in other words, i payed farmers so my trees didnt die. lol but yes, you can use stat boosters to start it I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come
shawn3090
Farming is very easy to level if you do it right... All i did to 75 was planted every tree/fruit tree seed I got from MTK (50% maples). This was a very long time ago, too, so i was limited to 4 fruit tree and tree pouches, instead of 5 each. Also, I don't trust evil stews very much. The most I have EVER gained in a skill was +3, with 3 doses of spice. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy.
