August 16, 200916 yr Well, from his profile, he is p2p. It depends on your Ranged level, the ammunition available to you, and the monster you are killing. [hide=Stats][/hide]"One death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic."-Joseph Stalin
August 16, 200916 yr Well it does depend on a matter of stuff. But in the lower levels i believe that a shortbow is better. But once at 61+ crossbows tend to be better. August 16, 200916 yr As your range is not ranked, it's a shortbow. However, a rune crossbow is better than a mage short. I believe an adamant crossbow is also better, but it's been quite a long time since I used one. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off
August 16, 200916 yr Use a shortbow on F2P and a crossbow once you reach runite on P2P. With the rune x-bow you'll want to get 55 slayer as soon as you can in order to use broad bolts for your training. You'll find they are worth the effort. If you are training up to 61 range on P2P, then use iron knives or steel darts on a monster with low defence. You'll find this is great experience versus the shortbow. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape
August 16, 200916 yr Since you are probably P2P, I would say crossbow because it gives high range attack bonus and some good crossbows have specials that you may find useful.
