August 31, 200916 yr Well, it's strange, it just has to do with the fact you're wearing whatever rare you borrowed. I remember when a friend borrowed me a santa. I didn't pay for it at the time, but just wearing it made me feel happier, in a strange way. I think if he told me I have to pay, that I actually would've done so (as long as it's not too expensive). So yeah, I think it might be more to feel good yourself then to make yourselves look better.

I'm giving something fake and worthless for something equally fake and worthless. If I get a kick out of it for 30 seconds, then it was worth it. I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I think it will be amusing I'll do it. To be honest I couldn't care less about my status, wealth, or "skill" in a computer game. I just want to mess around, do what I want, and, in turn, have fun.
