The results were: download = 0.23mb/s upload = 0.12mb/s and ping is 80ms. September 1, 200916 yr My speed is actually around 20 KB. It's pretty slow compared to my other friends' computers. Your best option is to call your ISP and see if thehy can up your internet speed or look for a different ISP. I use Verizon FIOS and get 6MByte/s download speed on average.

Well I can't call an ISP because downloading isn't an issue for my computer. Although I would like to download some games but it takes a while for it to finish. Any ideas on making the download speed faster by not calling my ISP? September 1, 200916 yr You might find that your ISP have restricted your use. Bt do it to me all the time, I pay for 10mb Broadband "unlimited", yet if I use more than 100gb in any given month I'm restricted to about 10% of that speed during peak-times. Contact your service provider, and enquire about your connection, it's all you can do really. :
