August 29, 200916 yr I've been wondering for a while, why when I am in the GE does it add random people to my friends list? It really pisses me off because I don't want it adding people I don't know. Anybody know why the Ge does this?
August 29, 200916 yr Moved to bugs/suggestions. I haven't heard of this ever happening, but if it is due to a glitch in the GE it's a bug as the GE isn't intended to do that. Most likely you somehow accidentally added a person without realizing it I would guess.
August 29, 200916 yr Here's why:The GE lags more than anywhere else. When you click, your click might drag out into when the box dissapears, and you'll add whoever happened to be under the bar at the time. You'll find that if you hide the game chat while there this doesn't happen. The other thing it might be is that the GE search box is not completely opaque-something like how you can click through the Text box to move in HD. I find this unlikely, though. It's more likely the first one. My skin is finally getting softI'll scrub until the damn thing comes off

August 30, 200916 yr Apprarently it's the result of a flaw with the current game engine. It's mentioned on the Dev Blog here: http://devblog.runescape.com/view_post.ws?post_id=27, and will be fixed when they update it. ~ W ~
