What am I doing wrong at Armoured Zombies?

Strength is definitely playing a part; no doubt about it. If you want higher hits on average, which means higher xp, then you're going to need a higher strength lvl. It's really that simple.

Ya it definaly does help if you can 2 hit armoured zombies I think I might have even seen myself hit a 50 with my whip.

Please don't start this argument. Void and slave DO stack, as they give different bonuses. VOid increases accuracy while salve increases attack and strength, so they DO stack. PLEASE NO FURTHER COMMENTS ON IF THEY STACK OR NOT, I just need to know what I am doing wrong.

 

Not that I'm disagreeing with you or trying to disprove you, but your logic is flawed.

 

Attack lvls = accuracy. The rule of thumb for invisible boosts is that they don't stack with each other concerning the same level.

 

If void + salve is an exception, then please state so since as robertr pointed out, not everyone knows that they stack.

There are two types of invisible boosts in rs skill boosts and other factor boosts.

 

 

 

Salve boosts attack and strength aka skills.

 

Void boosts accuracy.

 

 

 

While the attack skill DOES effect accuracy a boost to accuracy is different to a boost to attack.

 

 

 

A boost to attack of say 10% means if you have attack lvl 10, with the boost you're attack is effectively 11

 

A boost to accuracy means each individual time you hit the odds of a more accurate hit are pushed upwards. Eg if the random number generator can make 100 diff numbers, but only 10 of thoose = high end hits. With a 10% accuracy bonus it will make an 11th one of the outcomes into a high end hit (usually one of the outcomes that would cause a 0 or low hit)

 

 

 

It's a subtle difference in the way they boost you're stats which mean they stack.

That will lose you 1 kill as well as a minute or so every hour.

 

Only run to the altar the moment it hits 0, not before and not too long after (every non piety hit is lost exp).

 

 

 

To end the whole does it stack debate I get 7 to 10k more exp per hour using void then prossy so yes they do stack.

Oh 1 more thing (don't know i its been mentioned), using the 10% or 15% prayer worked out better for me as you don't need to recharge prayer so often.

Void+Salve is a common misconception, no end of people get it wrong. In fact I had a 10 minutes conversation last night with someone in game about it and they still didn't believe me.
