Gin_and_Tonic
Well, i've just figured i need 2.8k Dragon Bones for 70 pray and i've decided to try and slay them all myself. I'll kill 1.4k, pick up the bones and hides, then sell the hides and buy the remaining bones. My stats are; 60 Attack 67 Strength 50 Defence 38 Pray If i was to kill Green Dragons i'd probably play on a quiet time and slay them where most people do. How many d'you think i'd be able to kill an hour? I'll use Rune, Zerker helm, Glory ammy, d scimi, anti shield and i have barrows gloves. Or, the other option was to kill Blue Dragons in the Ogre Enclave. I would range them, with steel bolts and then teleport to watchtower, bank and run back. Im only 60 range, but i've heard thats enough to kill them with the usual gear. Any idea how many i'd be able to kill/bank an hour? The reason i choose this location is because its deserted and with watchtower teleport tabs i think it'll be much faster than going to Brim Dungeon. Im open to suggestions and ideas of how i could possible make this more effective. If anyone knows how many i can kill an hour it'd be a great help. Thanks! Johannas
Not sure on the exp rates, or how many you'd be able to kill but you wouldn't really profit with meleeing. Best way would be to range them, as you said in the ogre enclave as you can safespot them. But don't tele watchtower, its much faster using a ring of duelling, banking at castle wars and running back  Get 1 level up for the rune crossbow, and then use a mixture of emerald (e) bolts (to posion the dragon) and then switch to other bolts - i don't recommend anything under mithril. Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
Gin_and_Tonic
^Oh, thanks alot. Is there only the one entrance into the cave? From the quest entrance? Also, does Ava's Accumulator pick up the bolts from the Safespot? I know it theres a obstacle it doesn't, but sometimes they just cant reach you are they dont fit in the gap. aspeeder
If it's just because you are in a little crevice that they cannot reach, the accumulator should pick up MOST of your bolts. Oh, but personally I hated slaying blue drags with range, it gets very tedious, slow, and boring. It would be a lot faster to melee the greens, and in the time you'll save you can easily make up for the lost profit. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

Bladewing
I would guess that you could kill 70 greens an hour. I can kill 120 an hour with my stats. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit

Yes, Green may be your best choice at the moment.. cos I think at your stat, it'll kinda be too long ranging Blues.. you might burnt out faster too.. My only problem with Greens is that they are almost always so crowded and I hate hopping.. I stop doing Greens a long time ago.. but otherwise good luck to you too! Btw, i assume your calculations are based on Guilded Altar runs..? :) If I am looking further, that's because I am standing on the shoulders of Giant..! PlzPuddngPlz
Looking at the prices of dragon bones in rellation to hides, you'll need 2 green/blue hides for every bone you plan to buy, so you'll have to kill more than 1.4k if you don't want to spend any of your own money. Dragon bones are 3.204k. blue hides are 2.193k and green hides are 1.781 each. Sig by me, in MS paint, but I'm still working on it. Suggestions appreciated This guide is as concise as a gourmet's handbook with the guidelines of "Pick up fork, stab food, insert into your mouth, then chew".
