Evil Tree

Experience wise, is it better to cut the main tree or the roots? I don't care about rewards, I only want experience.

Tree gives substantially more exp. However when u whould be stuck with an evil tree lower than yew, I'd recommend to go for the roots most of the time and stack up o kindlings, as the kindlings are always useful when having an evil tree higher or equal to yew. Matter of giving you a head start by lighting the fires early, as a nice reward always comes in handy. Also the higher the reward % the more log tele you get, so can knock yourself out at willows.

I usually dont light fires. I just cut the trees and ignore the roots. I don't want the firemaking experience. I'm just looking for woodcut xp.

You might as well light fires becase its easy xp and gets you a higher reward % so theres not any point in not doing it.

Slayer; it's just what I do.

Are willows the best log to cut experience wise with the log boost thingy?

I'm pretty sure teaks are technically better, though willows are in places closer to teleports so that means less time wasted getting there. Just bring a games necklace for the Barbarian Outpost teleport and you should be ready to powercut immedietly after you get the reward.

Skills necklace to Crafting or Fishing Guild is better. The Barbarian Outpost is sometimes crowded. And remember your rabbit's foot necklace too.

The way I do it is get kindling if I dont have any, set fires, cut the tree until about 90~ and collect kindling, then when I have enough for the next tree (8?) I cut the tree again

I dont need a siggy no moar.
