So if you had a kid with your sibling, it'd be the same gene pool. Your 1st cousin? still roughly 25% same gene pool. 2nd cousin? 13% 3rd Cousin? They'd be too young for you any way (3rd cousin is your cousin's grandchild if you didn't know) Cousin by marriage? Legal but kinda gross, and the wedding would be very awkward To put perspective on it, I went to my Cousin once removed's Bat Mitvah. Her mom is my dad's cousin. That mom's mom's sister adopted a girl about 4 years older than me. She's hot, but THAT is too close for me. She's still family in my eyes.
