3. Go to wherever you want to save your picture. May be my documents, desktop, or any other folders you might have in there.

4. Name your file whatever you want to name it, just make sure you can recognize it later.

5. Click on the little arrow and choose a type of file to save it as. The best way to save it is PNG when you want to host it on the internet because the quality is not lost and it is not blurry as in a JPEG

6. Just click on SAVE and now your work is saved and ready to be hosted!

Tell me anything you think should be changed or fixed. Hope this helps for any people who are new to all these types of things.

I just get the impression that this Tutorial was not really needed.

well i have just been seeing many people asking why their image looks so blurry(jpeg) and how to make it into a PNG. Its actually just directed to the new people to all that, just trying to help.

File > Save As > 'Save as Type...' Select PNG from drop down

If someone saved it as a jpeg then with some sense they would figure out that they could have better quality on their sig.

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .
