Do the Mining Gloves and Sacred Clay Pickaxe EXP stack?

Kinda.. SC gear works by making the game treat each action as two actions, so you'll get faster xp/h, but brawling gloves will only last half as long

They do, but using SC items are considered a waste with brawlers

The picks are terrible they have a max of 18k exp per item.

Well, although the brawlers only last half as many items, your getting 2x the xp. The "charge" is coming out of the SC item. The Brawlers will last for the same amount of xp they would have. In essence, your using up SC tools for faster xp, but not for more xp.

Indeed, the Brawling gloves (mining) will last half their usual yields (600 ores instead of 1200, using theuberelite's numbers). But, at the same time, the SC tools will last 4x as long as they usually would (72K mining experience instead of the usual 18K).

 

So it is very worthwhile using both, especially since you can only keep one item nowadays. I used SC Hatchet for my Woodcutting brawling gloves and the SC Helm for my 3 Melee brawling gloves. Very fast experience indeed.

Umm.. where are you getting the 4x SC tool info from?
