Dirkmetal
Why was my sig removed? I have received no PM about it. I have used the same sig for the last couple months without incident. It says that I used a combined image size over 200 pixels, or used a combined file size of 100 KB My sig had two images: (135 height, and 27.32 KB) and (110 height. and 38.39 kb) The combined size is under the limit, so it has to be the combined height. (245), however this was no problem before because I have always had the images in hide tags. Has the rules been changed about this; do height x width limits still apply even when the images are in hide tags?Is there a new auto-detection on sig limits that picked this up as a breach of the rules? I don't really care about having a sig or not. I just found it a bit rude that there was no explanation for this.
obfuscator
I do know that your signature is too big (tall) and while I don't personally deal with sig removals I understand that images still affect dimension limits even if in hide tags. Dirkmetal
I do know that your signature is too big (tall) and while I don't personally deal with sig removals I understand that images still affect dimension limits even if in hide tags.So then IPB detects things even in hide tags as being over the limit? :( Oh well. Ouchy
If they were stacked one on top of the other, or side be side, they will exceed the limits. They may be under the file size, but they break the image size requirements. Beings in hide tags doesn't make a difference, as far as I am aware. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
tripsis
Even if your signature is in hide tags, it must still coincide with all of the rules. And you say that "this was never a problem before," but that doesn't necessarily mean that a moderator SAW your signature a few weeks/months ago. You can have a rule-breaking signature for months and get away with it if no one reports it and a moderator doesn't stumble across it. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
meol
Users normally get a PM explaining why their signature has been removed. The fact you didn't receive one was an honest mistake by the moderator that handled your signature. I think everything has been addressed by now. If there's something else I'm missing, feel free to ask. This signature is intentionally left blank.

I did yours when I was still getting the hang of things, I was suppose to. Often times it is just a honest mistake, sig reports are not necessarily 911 so a Super/Admin can be in the middle of removing it and get an urgent issue. The system is designed to avoid it but it still happens time to time. If you ever have a question as to why it was removed, feel free to pm a mod or admin and ask. :) RIP MichaelangelopolousThanks to cowboy14 for the pimp sig!
