When you superglass make are you suppose to buy the Sand and Seaweed/Soda Ash or just Buy one or the other than collect the rest? Also will i still make money by doing this from 77-82? or will i lose alot of money? i only have about 4m to work with so if u know a method that isnt alching/superheating(since i've been doing that and its kinda annoying) please feel free to list it.

Yes you buy both and I'm not sure if you still profit or not, last time I checked which was several weeks ago it was a very small profit but I'm not sure at current prices.

If you're fast you can get close to 100k exp an hour, and a lot of times you profit.

Superglass make is a GREAT way to profit using magic, and it is decent mage exp per hour plus even more crafting exp. Since you don't have a lot of gp to spare this should get you some more so you can afford faster methods down the road. I think it's around 400k-600k/hr, and it fluctuates quite a bit, but rest assured it WILL ALWAYS PROFIT!

Remember the fact that when superglass making you don't get the exact amount of molten glass as supplies used. In fact you will usually make MORE glass than supplies used so you will nearly all of the time when buying both sand and seaweed.

 

If you aren't already, I recommend collecting the daily 120 buckets of sand from Bert in Yanille which is available after the completion of the Hand in the Sand quest (which is not too difficult). As well as buying 80 seaweed from the Charter Trader(his name escapes me) on the dock near the bank in Catherby.

 

I actually superglass make a fair amount, but I never buy supplies. Every time my stock of seaweed/buckets of sand starts to hit the 1k+ mark I decide, eh why not I'll do some superglass making. I always profit this way and its a nice break from other things.

 

In replying to post above(Darkvengence), I've never actually tried Diamond Bolt enchanting myself but I've heard it's great experience and decent profit most of the time, you should look into it.

If you are looking for fast-ish mage EXP without losing too much or make a profit i would go with Maging Aviansies. I believe this is the only reliable 60k+ exp an hour profitable mage training. Superglass make is probably THE BEST moneymakes, but its bad in the sense of reallyyyy slow exp.

im not as worried about fast exp as i am losing alot of money while getting the lvls =)

Well superglass make is a great spell to use. Just buy everything you need (you still profit). The sand you need to buy at max Price, Seawed you can get market and the astrals too. If you have mouse keys then USE THEM! It makes a HUGE difference. Im 100% sure you wont be able to do this for more than about 1mil exp because it get really tedious, but good lukc non the less.

You will need 12 114 of Both. You should end up with close to 15k Molten glass from it.

Most people do know it. But you always get the few who like giving out information without checking to see if it still applies to the current date. I doubt its possible to make any profit from it now. And if you could, the materials are hard to come by.

i need to make 8.6k astral runes for 56 rc so would that be better to do instead of buying the runes?

No, astral Runes are worth less than Pure Ess. You will end up losing money on the runes.

Yuou need 12k Cast, and you can do about 600 a hour if youre not overdoing it. So thats about 20 hours?

awsome i was thinking more like 4 or 5 days worth but 20 hours is perfect (considering i cant work atm i play 10-12 hrs a day so it shouldnt be too bad =)

Just as a warning, this is really really boring. Buy 1k casts first, try it out and then buy the rest.

honestly if i didnt get bored superheating 8.8k iron ores im pretty sure with how determined i am to get 82 mage which has always been a huge goal of mine it will be really hard to bore me to the point of quitting.
