schmuall
Hey, I've currently got 75 range and I'm looking to get it up to 80-85 using bronze knives at Yaks and then making my way to avianses. I was just wondering whether any of you guys knew whether Full range void or Full Black d'hide would be better for training at Yaks? These are the 2 equipment setups I could be using: Archer helmAvas accumulatorAmulet of RangingBlack d'hide bodyZamorak prayer bookBlack d'hide chapsBlack d'hide vambsSnakeskin boots or Void range helmamulet of rangingAvas accumulatorVoid bodyVoid legsVoid glovessnakeskin bootsZamorak book Also, I can't afford an archers ring so is there anything a little cheaper any of you could please suggest? Thanks in advance! give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
JoeDaStudd
void as yaks have low defense the extra damage really makes a noticable difference. gorgoroth
Void is better in most cases. Even at Aviansies void is much better. And you really shouldnt be doing Yaks -.- Aviansies at your level is perfect. **Thanks to Boo_Boy666 for my amazing Singnature**[hide=Slaytanicc's Achievments]|99Cooking achieved 24Dec 2008|99Strength achieved 17Feb 2009|99Hit Points achieved 8April 2009||99Defense achieved 29May 2009|99Attack achieved 2August 2009|99Ranged achieved 14August 2009|[/hide][hide=Guides by Slaytanicc]Aviansie Maging + Ranging Guide (Must Read!!)Iron Mining + Banking GuideGreen Dragons GuideAnkou Slaying Guide[/hide]
sumondskull6
Yeah, go with void, it increases accuracy and damage. This makes it more useful for training, and boss killing if you don't care about def.
schmuall
Wow, thanks everyone for getting back to me so fast! Especially Slaytanicc, I must have read your guide for avianses about 4 times now lol. I'll be sure to post how succesful I've been after a few trips. give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
Zaaps1
You could use an enchanted MA ring instead of an Archer's Ring. ~It's Super Effective! stonewall337
Yeah, go with void, it increases accuracy and damage. This makes it more useful for training, and boss killing if you don't care about def. Not all bosses, unless you meant melee void. Honestly, it only is more accurate on monsters with low defense, as you sacrifice alot of range bonus to use void. So arma/karils/d'hide is better when ranging things with higher defense, such as metal dragons, or zil. [hide=Drops]Araxxor Eye x1 Leg pieces x2GWD: 5000 Addy bar Steam B Staff x3 Z Spear x6 Sara. Jaffy1
Void if you don't need protective armour. Armadyl if you do. So arma/karils/d'hide is better when ranging things with higher defense, such as metal dragons, or zil. I would have to say the statement about metal dragons is questionable. At 98 range I use void in just about all my endeavors even when I could use the extra defence. (99 defence + a bunyip works wonders) I do not see much difference in the 2 at metals. (excluding Miths) The only thing, which I agree with you with, that I do not use void for is Bosses and when I say bosses I mean GWD ones and Mith Dragons. As for the use of Void or Black d'hide on Yaks, let me put it this way, it'd be silly to NOT use Void on Yaks, among other things. Apparently, my signature was to big.
