Simple question, right?

Been using the Abyss until now, but as I haven't trained RC in a long time, I was wondering if there was any better/faster methods out there.

If you have the agility for the shortcuts, I think

 

Glory -> Edge, bank

Slayer Ring -> Slayer Caves

Fairy Ring -> Zanaris

 

might be faster

I've actually been told that with the high enough agility + slayer rings, the method described by Bladewing is faster. But I cannot confirm this. Your best bet is to do 5-10 trial runs, time yourself, then compare. The average abyss run takes ~85 seconds.

No way in hell the method bladewing described is faster.

 

The running between teleport points and agility shortcuts alone will eat up about equal time as an abyss run. And that is without the getting thru shortcuts, added teleport load time and the actualy crafting.

 

But anyway abyss is the fastest as many have said UNLESS you happen to have a ton of GOP tokens in which altar tele tabs own ALL

Between the slayer ring and the glory, I don't think "time between teleports" will take very long at all. Although yeah, I've never tried it, it would have to take ~1 minute-70 seconds to get from the Fairy Ring to finishing crafting in order for it to match abyss.

Just tested it, and it takes approx. 26 seconds to run from the fairy ring in Zanaris to the Cosmic altar. Idk how long it takes to craft the runes, but I'm pretty sure it's not more than like 20 seconds. Including banking and tele-ing I think these are pretty close in terms of speed.

Actually even for natures the difference is very,very minimal.. (It's more slowly, but with leeches you can take more by the abbys + the pouches cost a lot less. With graahk your profit was -measured 2 weeks ago with 91 rc, 80 agility- only 5k higher than abbys hourly)..

 

 

 

rcing (apart from zmi/special ways) is all about getting most profit/hour: so when calculating the time using slayer rings, don't forget you also have to take the time to make slayer rings into account!

Each Slayer Ring has 8 charges and they're pathetically easy to make. I don't think that is too big of an issue.

easy != fast. it requires around 30 seconds to make 1 load (14, but for easiness sake let's say 15) - and that's even "fast", so each teleport uses about 1/4th extra seconds + it requires a gold bar (about 200 gp, or 25 gp/tele)..

 

Still not much, yet it adds up! - Banking takes (when using all 4 pouches + abbys leech) exactly 20 seconds, tested after lots and lots of crafting.. Crafting takes about 15 seconds (crafting + teleporting), then the teleporting takes another 2 seconds, meaning the final time is about 57.25 seconds. Still a good 25 seconds faster than the abbys on average takes, thus if you can make more than 3600 gp/hour (which cosmic crafting is) the slayer method is better.

And yet those 30 seconds of time give you 120 teleports, which will last ~2-2.5 hours. So those 30 seconds are just .3% of the final yield. So no, it doesn't add up. It doesn't add up at all. (Ok fine, it adds up, but you get what I mean, the number it adds up to aren't significant).

 

Yeah each teleport is 25gp. Ok so what? In 1 hour, that's not even 2k in costs. That's equal to roughly 5-6 extra essence crafted, if you can craft double cosmics. This method can EASILY let you craft a mere 6 extra essence per hour. So no, it doesn't add up at all.

 

EDIT: 20 seconds to bank? Is that with or without mousekeys?
