So, 100% herbs 50% seeds is the most profit atm, but I predict herbs will start dropping pretty soon.

For now its 10 Herbs 5 Raw Fish. You can try putting the other 5 on Maples. Fish for profit, Maples for luck.

 

After the Herblore frenzy is over and prices have settled the best thing might change back to being 10 on Fish 5 on Coal/Maples.

Im not sure on this, but isnt coal around 200ea atm? so I think coal is better than maples, unless you are getting fletching levels up, and want some junk for lending items ect...

You have to account for nests which drop from maples. You could potentially get Yew/Magic/other expensive seeds and make a good profit, or get nothing worthwhile and not gain much. It's up to luck, really.

i have done both quests, there for having more workers, its important to keep kingdom happy every day, for maximum profits, and if you do coal, and flax, you can re sell without doing a single thing, and double your money. now if you spin the flax, you gain some crafting xp, and triple yr money. you can also do uncooked fish, and cook then sell, get free xp, and still double yr money.

Both those are bad ideas. You get more money from doing herbs or coal instead of flax, even if u do waste ur time to spin it. And cooking the fish only gets u exp, they cost more uncooked not cooked.

BUT, getting seeds and herbs in incredibly inconvenient, because you'll need about 30-40 empty bank spaces to collect your coffers; which is why I decided I would got back to 100 on Fishing (raw) and 50 on maples, which is the old "most profitable".

I also do mostly herbs, majority of the time you can use them to make potions for xp, or if you are after cash then even still herbs are a big profit :D

Only need that many if you do the farming seeds as well as herbs. And you shouldn't do farming as most of the seeds don't sell on the GE. I tried it once and ended up just dropping most of them. Right now the best for profit is 10 on Herbs and 5 on raw fish for guarantee profit or 5 on maples for smaller profit but a chance as some great seeds from the nests.
