C110 Posted November 5, 2009 Author Share Posted November 5, 2009 Today I got home from work and I decided to go solo Saradomin! First time I was ever gonna kill Zill, and I was gonna be on my own. While getting the kc I asked a few friends for advice and they all said the same. "Hit 'n Run". So I got 40 kc, went into the lair and went straight to the boss room. Zill was in the far corner so I potted up and went in. I ran to the first corner, shoot, run to next corner, shoot etc etc. It actualy went quite wel. My first trip there I got 3 kills but no drops, I however did get Dragon Boots while getting kc. Then 2 TSGers asked me to hybrid at the DK's. I accepted and grabbed my gear. We started with LS, but after about a hour without any notable drop the 'captain' decided to change it to CS. I didn't realy like that but they both wanted it, I dont want it because I want the items! Then Msterbrewer got the only no CS-able Dk drop, a Seercull. I realy like it down there, so I also added a SS drop in my goal section (more about this later). Again only managed a few kills, 4 this time. Yesterday I teled because I was out of food, now I teled because I was out of prayer! I think I got my inventory right now! \:lol:/ , so I might go back later today after I've done some stuff irl (washing car, go to market, call some people etc etc). Now back to the goal section, decided to add some crazy images to it to make it look better, and I also added a new item goal from my own drop. The reason the Armadyl Plate and Skirt aren't 'own drops' yet is because of the 3 bosses I kill its the one I dislike the most. Now I present you, my updated goals! Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Got some ranarr drops, some ranarr seeds but mostly trash, ah well, I can't realy expect a hilt anytime soon. :unsure: Then I decided to find a Bandos Mass, and I found one, about 10 people were killing Graandor when I got in. I killed along, getting a few coin drops every now and then. Then some guy got a Bandos Chestplate. The rest got about 2.4m lsp. 2 hours without drops later I teled because dinner was ready. Tonight I think I'll be going out, so don't expect much more today! After 3 hops I found one so I went in and started to hit Zilyana. Then I got massive lagg, but managed to get the kill and lagg was gone. As soon as she spawned again I started to lagg again but again I managed to kill her without taking to much damage. "Your familair has 1 minute left on its timer". So I renewed it and didn't pay more attention. Then I clicked the special bar, but my run didn't go up, I forgot a extra pouch! Within seconds Zilyana was in melee range and she did some serious damage. I teled out with ~25 hp left! After that I just did some slayer, I'm about 550k from top 1000. Aneron Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 Ah solo sara. It will draw you in and you'll spend a ton of money and if you're me never get drops lol. I haven't done it for ages, but people say enhanced excalibur is good there if you aren't already using it (or sgs :P). With the new room only one shot/wall is possible so never try for more. And, make sure you run all the way to the south wall so that bree doesn't attack you while you're on it. However, do NOT run along the north wall, run 1 square south of it. This way star will be following the exact same course as Zil and never melee you. Beyond that it's just a matter of not messing up and letting Zil get close to you. C110 Posted November 8, 2009 Author Share Posted November 8, 2009 Thanks! Today I mostly slayed and I am rank 1153 at this point. Then there was another TSG mass. Saradomin this time! My first Saradomin Godwars trip that wasn't solo! I didn't know what to expect so I looked for a inven setup on the TSG boards. Then I got kc and we went into her room. Not long after we got in we got a Saradomin sword split and only a few kills after we got a Godsword Shard 1 split. I also got about 400 law runes, 6 ranarr seeds, 16 grimy ranarr and some other junk. I was the one with the highest LSP so I got most of the not splitted drops! After 2 hours I had to tele because I have to work tomorrow and I need sleep. :rolleyes: Realy enjoyed this trip! TSG Pride! C110 Posted November 11, 2009 Author Share Posted November 11, 2009 Note on last sara CS trip: They got a 12m hilt split after I left. Yesterday I was invited to a 5 Man Bandos and decided to go. They did ~30 Boss kills before I arrived and we started to kill on CS. To make a long story short (I'm tired), I ended up 4-5 hours later with over 60 Boss kills (so thats another 180 minions_ without any single split drop! F--- our lifes. We still had great fun to! C110 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Share Posted November 13, 2009 Today I spend another 3 hours at Bandos. We started with 12 man but after a hour there were only 3 of us left. I borrowed a AGS and the other 2 both owned/borrowed a AGS, so we did quite well. After 30 minutes of trio-ing we got 'crashed' by a 10 man team. We decided to switch of specs, they both specced in 1 kill and I specced the other kill (I was wearing full bandos + firecape etc). This went quite well since we were getting all the drops! I even specced a 73! So after 30 minutes they decided to hop. Then 10 minutes after a 8 man team comes in and tries to crash us, again we switched of specs and we got all kills again! So after a few kills they also decided to hop. Not long after a team mate had to go and the other one was outa suplies not long after! So I teled aswell. O, crap, thats another 3 hour dry Bandos trip...I wonder when the drops will come.... Another 3 hours without drops for me and not even for a team mate! Then Ryan asked me to DK's together. I told him 'Gl finding an empty world @ saturday night'. So we decided to go a normal world, me solo Hybrid, he solo Mage. Trip was only just over an hour since I ran out of suplies...but on the second Supreme I got a Seercull. Not long after Ryan got a Hatchet then Ryan had to go for 10 minutes, he told me to go up, but I wanted to kill Supreme first (that is why Rex is near me)...Lucky I did the kill because it gave me a Archers ring. But again I got no notable drops! EDIT I don't wanna make a new post for yet another Saradomin (cs) trip. 5 man in the room everything went perfect! But again, for all the time we were killing Zil, no drops! Nothing, nadaa, nopes! Gwd realy hates me :(. C110 Posted November 20, 2009 Author Share Posted November 20, 2009 2 days ago I decided to make a Bandos team, so I asked in TSG and my Friendlist to get some people. I ended up with myself + 6 others and we got KC. Guess what? Yet again 3 dry hours! With no drops for me OR for my team. Thats 13+ hours totaly dry at Bandos now, without even getting LSP! Today I went on a Solo Bandos trip. Lets just say it went perfect! First kill, I potted up, walked trough the door and BGS specced. Boom 60! Nice defence level mate. Then the high hits stayed, 53, 46, 51 etc. Not a single hit under 40! I basicly killed Graar in 15 seconds on a solo! \:lol:/ . I managed 2 more kills after that, so 3 kills in total. Since I messed up at the beginning I got Prime on me, so I had to constantly pray. Was a kinda short trips without drops. I might go back tomorrow. Then I got invited for a Mass Bandos. Whos Dennis asked me to come (his old name is j1ggy jigsaw). I met him at Bandos and been to Bandos with him for some trips already. He told me they already had 4 Shards and Tassets. So I got ready and went to GWD. Joined the mass and stayed for 5 hours. In those 5 hours this were the 2 drops: Godsword Shard 1 for 1r0n Monkey, Godsword Shard 2 for 1r0n Monkey.
