Ambler Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 it's really not that much hassle recharging armour (barrows for instance) as if you are slaying with it, you normally make the cash to recharge it and way more. gorgoroth Posted November 7, 2009 Share Posted November 7, 2009 If you dont plan on doing Slayer then just spend a day or 2 and get yourself Void Melee set. Spend the money on a good shield like BSS. You will then also be able to buy a Whip and a Fury (i think, im not sure on the current prices). Rune+BSS+fury will be enough defense for most things, and when you don't need as much defense, use defender. Dragon plate is too expensive for its stats, so stick with rune plate for now. For the shield slot, definitely get the rune defender. It's free and wipes the floor with anything else you can afford.
