November 7, 200916 yr whats the best armor these days? i have 9 mil and i dont have proper melee armor. i was thinking saveing for dragon platemail +legs? i really hate maintenance on armor so nouthing that degrades please! 5% of people want an original signature if you are one of these people don't put this in your signature
November 7, 200916 yr it's really not that much hassle recharging armour (barrows for instance) as if you are slaying with it, you normally make the cash to recharge it and way more. November 7, 200916 yr If you dont plan on doing Slayer then just spend a day or 2 and get yourself Void Melee set. Spend the money on a good shield like BSS. You will then also be able to buy a Whip and a Fury (i think, im not sure on the current prices). November 7, 200916 yr whip = around 3.2m-mid, bss = 5.5m-mid,fury 6.2m-mid. He would be somewhere around 5-7m short of being able to afford all 3 items with only a 9m budget.

He also said he didnt want to repair his amor which knocks off torag's. but other than that your setup is pretty well perfect.

November 8, 200916 yr If you are too lazy to fix barrows, stick with rune. Dragon is only for showoffs. Rune+BSS+fury will be enough defense for most things, and when you don't need as much defense, use defender. Dragon plate is too expensive for its stats, so stick with rune plate for now. For the shield slot, definitely get the rune defender. It's free and wipes the floor with anything else you can afford.
