Trey Posted January 10, 2012 Author Share Posted January 10, 2012 Today was a summoning, dungeoneering and glakker day.I started out by getting 79-88 summoning which also got me 2 combat levels. 130 combat ftw! Then I took a break for a bit until some people wanted to run some floors in DG. 5-6 drunk DG floors later and I got 102 dungeoneering. After that I went to try my luck at glakkers but didn't get any boots. I did get 2 effigy drops though so that's good. :>11 total levels in a day makes me a happy dilly.OH! Trey Posted January 11, 2012 Author Share Posted January 11, 2012 I've killed way too many glakkers and still have no boots to show for it. :<I got a few more levels today which pushed me to 2400 total on Trey!Then I got 99 fishing on Bonergazer!I'll probably do glakkers all day today as well which should get me 98 mage AND HOPEFULLY A [bleep]ING BOOT DROP. You should probably finish up Mining/Superheating before you Glak anymore, or stop all together & focus on Slayer. I've killed over 2,000 at this point and haven't seen any boots. I should have seen close to 6 at a drop rate of 1/350. I'm going to keep killing them until I get 99 mage (which is only like 4 more hours of glacors) and then quit them for a while. PROBABLY FOREVER. I think I'll take your advice and do some actual slayer over the next week or so. See how hard I can no life. Looks like you're still doing great and you're almost there :thumbsup: Come support my max total goal here. Briobe122's 10-step guide to staking:1. Get cleaned2. Vow to never stake ever again! (very important)3. welfare tds and get claws4. kill glacors til i get boots5. bandos ffa or more tds til i have around 50m6. realize that it is far too hard to rebuild using steps 3, 4, and 57. give up the vow to never stake again8. go back staking and make your bank back9. if you failed at step #8, Go back to step #110. if you succeed at step #8, you will eventually feel the need to make money for rich people stuff, have a bad day of staking, then get cleaned anywaysPain is just weakness leaving the body. I'm slowing going to chin to 99 ranged though when I can find time to play. I started at 89 ranged and I'm at 91 at the time of writing this. Interesting fact: Getting 90 ranged brought all of my skills above 90. After 99 ranged, I'll be able to use my hex properly and start getting work done on 120 DG.I think I'm going to get 99 mining at LRC and 99 smithing at artisans workshop before I really start to tackle Slayer. This is my mini timeline for how long I want to spend getting each 99.Ranged: One week. I'm 7m xp off.Mining: Two days. I'm 700k xp off.Smithing: Dunno how long artisans takes. 3-4 days.Then slayer should take like 2 weeks. I'm pretty much 97 right now so that should be pretty fast if I stick to it.
