Does it have to be Hold' em? I'm seriously sick of this poker phase. Everyone's all "omgozrz hold em like teh best 1one11o!!." I do think it's a good game, but there's so many poker games out there all and no one even tries them. They just see hold 'em on tv and play that. Poker's becoming mtv..

Personally I'd rather play for Free because my Cash account is out of action at the moment because of lack of funds. :(

Hold 'Em has gotten popular because it's an easy form of poker to pick up, other versions like Omaha and 7 Card Stud are harder to pick up so people ignore them for an easier game.

I haven't played Ohmaha since I was in highschool :( There was only 12 people that I knew of who could actually play it and 3 of them I taught myself. There was no shortage of people who knwe Hold'Em though. I eventually just switched just because no one I knew anymore could play Ohmaha :cry:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

@Ryan: I agree. Hold'Em is the mtv of poker and it sucks. I have to go to the casino if I want in on decent games of any other type and even then the majority of the tables are Hold'Em :x

I'd join if I knew how to play Poker :)

It's not a hard game to pick up, just join a free site like PartyPoker and learn to play there for free.

I have the same problem as Dark, I only know 3 people who play Omaha and I don't know anybody who plays Hi/Lo even though it's a really good game.

Count me in if this is actually gona go down.

Alright, this site should work. I have to be a member for a week and then I can create a league. When that is a go, I dont know what happens. So you might as well register now (its quick, easy and free) and just wait a week until I get this beast rolling. Basically, we will have ourselves a tipit league where you can go at ANY time and play with other tipiters (assuming other tipiters are there). We can make official times to get together. Im thinking this is gonna be pretty darn cool.
