December 11, 200916 yr Yes. It's not multicombat though, but you can still kill many of them at same time if you use range and safespot ( i don't know how well it works there in practice.

Well, safespotting strikers works when mining (and fishing) :) but it's whole different story because you don't have many of them on you. Maybe if you find good spot there for that purpose..

You say "yes". Is this from first hand experience? Have you used a cannon there yourself? I've never seen a cannon down there since it was introduced.

Most of the safe spots rely on you not being under attack from a striker when you get there and being out of their usual wander/attack range. Not first hand experience since haven't used myself but I have seen them from time to time while I have been fishing there for 20k rocktails and mined gold from 80 to 90 mining. None of those people were slaying though.
