I've recently noticed that the 'last known as' cursor-hover thing seems to be permanent as it's still by people on my friends list who changed their names a long time ago. Can it be gotten rid of if you change back to the previous name or your original name? It's just that it really annoys me since people can see a previous name if they add me and I'd rather not show that I used to have a bad name or whatever.

It changes I think after the 28 days you have it, I THINK, but i know for a fact it changes, I just dont know how long.

December 14, 200916 yr Yes it does go away. I have had several friends ask me why mine was gone, last time I changed my name was over 30 days ago.
December 14, 200916 yr There are definitely situations where the icon stays for longer than 30 days, maybe you need to have been on their friend's list for 30 days.

December 15, 200916 yr It does go away, just after a certain amount of time. I changed my name and then changed it back, and it was around 28 days after I changed back to the original name that the little symbol went away. December 15, 200916 yr Question! Say if you obtained members for a month, changed your display name, then ran out of members; would you still have the customized display name in F2P?
