Flyingjj
So I'm looking for a little help on getting my inventory/equipment right for taking down the Queen at the end. I've been able to get her down to about half health, but not any more than that with Granite platebody, black d'hide legs, lunar helm, lunar cape, and barrows gloves as my basic setup, but I am willing to invest if someone thinks it would give me enough edge to take her down. My stats are in my sig, not great, but meh...
NiniFazter1
I would make sure you have a positive mage attack bonus, by having mystic top instead of granite body should do it. an then a melee helm for some attack bonus. The barows gloves are great as the give positive bonuses to all combat syles , and a glory will add to other stats I wore Head ZerkerNeck GloryBody Mystic robeLegs Karils skirtgloves BarrowsRing LifeCape ardy (+6 prayer bonus)Bolts Broard as i used r cbow If you pray correctly you will be able to do this with les tahn 15 sharks and 1or p pot's. She changes her attack styles after so many attacks of the same one. i find she always started with melee
Sir_Froobie
I Suggest , you get someone to lend you, some useful gear. My setup included: inventory. mystic air staff 500 bloods 500 deaths elemental runes mystic hat lol1 p potice titan bc he loooks the best.titan con scrolls. gear setup rune c'bowbroad boltsbalmungverac bassardarma plateskirtenchanced excaliburkarmaja glove's quick tele although you go to fremmik heavan place. (brought just incase)arma plate (didn't use)druidic robe top and bottom the green f2p robe's (lol im 99 magic and only use magic to tele never bought combat robes for fighting with magic) but im 135 and 99 magic 99 rng btw. what i noticed first time she attacks u need to hit with balmung she's says somthing ot the effect "where did you get such a wretched weapon"at the point she will change ccolor it tell u in the chat window, so i walked to top right part of water thna ran to other side of it causing her to be hugged, that time i just watched for color and attacked with the color i needed took me two tries because i thought green was mud, brown is mud so i never ranged her. i equiped a staff and my mystic hat lol, than auto casted the spell needed i was using the 90+ magic spells. althoguh i don't find you need them althouh my mage bonus was +5 or somthing dumbso i had like no magic bonus if you had like +40 it would be fine. basiclly don't need food. Um the gret spike r the rng attack so protect rng or rng deflect. the water blast looking magic think is obviously her mage attack protect from magic whne she uses that. she seemed to me to switch attack stlye every 2-3 color switches, but still pay attention to the hits she's hit around mid 20's on me. with rng, magic 15ish. whne you go and kill her she will say this can't be and walk over to the corner and colapse. than leave room pick up pickaxe planl and tinder go mine the pillar you will die and be in "heaven" again. return, aand you will speak to baba yaga, you wife/husaband will havve died, at one part you get option to attack baba yaga i didn't chooose it tho. if you kill the mother tell me what happens if you choose to attack her sounded interesting. at that part you climb up the ladder the guy will call to you you will go back to relleka and talk to guy in longhall for you reward i choose 450k prayer xp free 91-92 prayer. NastyJenny
A full Magic offense gear will do : i used Dagon Hai.Balmung, Rune X-Bow, Didn't bother taking a staff, allready hard enought unautocast spells, switch to range or melee when wrong style. In inventory, 1 dose pure set to make best use of the hardest hitting weapon, a prayer pot, runes for all wave spells, rest should be good food (monks +), also use a terrorbird full of food in case you mess up. Start fight with melee protect on and balmung, when she switches color move away and range pray, this only leaves her Magic to worry about.Switch styles as good as you can (in fact autocasting helps too once you get it right). When she gets orange back to melee protect and hit her with axe.Repeat... Good luck
Returned3
Wear a God Cape. That +10 magic att bonus is more useful than any prayer bonus another cape provides. I simply wore Veracs throughout the entire fight. When I was required to ranged, I switched to my Crystal Bow and my ranged bonus was +100, when I was required to mage, I equiped an Ancient Staff and I had a +11 magic bonus, which was enough. The mother will, on average change it's colours after 2 "high" hits unless the attack came from the Balmung, in that case she will change colours immediately after the first "high" hit. My other gears were:Helm of NeitFury AmmyDragon BootsBarrow Gloves I did not equip anything in the ring, shield nor arrow slot. Tip.It's guide says to pray protect ranged throughout, but that only killed me within the first minutes. I retried the battle with the same equipment only with "Deflect Maged" curse switched on throughout and the battle was a breeze. For me it was the magic spells that did most of the damage, while ranged having that occasional good hit or so. The Balmung was too slow and inaccurate to be useful. I'd advise not to switch your armour throughout the battle as the mother switches after every 2 "high" hits and it will get confusing. Simply switching your weapons with a reasonable bonus is more than enough to slay her. You'd be pretty busy during the battle so I suggest sticking with protect magic throughout (Barrows provide a very good melee/ranged defence of 210+) 00:00:0500:00:0400:00:0300:00:0200:00:0100:00:00 Break the Walls down! Zaaps1
Actually, the Queen only switches combat styles when you pray. For me, she started with melee, I prayed melee since I was in full Karils. She switched to mage. I turned off all prayer since I thought the damage would be minimal. She stayed with mage the rest of the battle. So switch until she is using the style your armor best resists, then switch off protection prayers. This saves prayer and in the long run prevents more damage, assuming your defenses are high enough. ~It's Super Effective!
