[Nexaduro]

Nexaduro attempts to fix the golem's hand, then cause it to resonate in tune with the sword to prevent damage to it. He then attempts to create a magic trigger field surrounding the area around the door of the bar which would cause the golem to apprehend (not kill) thieves, and (using sound magic) cause it to tell patrons to deposit weapons outside in a large crate Nexaduro creates out of stone near the doorway and enjoy their stay.

[Seraphi]

Rocco-

You run out of the tower, and look round, to see that pieces of the tower appear to have split off, and it is revealed to be an incredibly large golem.

 

Earth-

You spot the large figure on the horizon.

 

Hakon-

The golem starts hauling the chest away, but drops it, and it smashes.

 

Grim-

You head into the mountains. It may take a while to cross them. 20 minutes.

 

Umbra-

(It did.)

You create more barbs, but the man is rather strong, and continues to move, albeit more slowly. Several of the barbs swirl in front of you as defense. The man uses his greatsword to knock you down and destroy the barbs, before falling to one knee and catching his breath.

 

Nexaduro-

You fix the golems hand and give it the sword. You somehow feel that patrons would not want to leave their valuable weapons outside in a random crate, but create it anyway. The golem cannot be deactivated, but will wait at the entrance anyway.

[Earth]

While he is on one knee I draw caladburn while more shadow barbs are summoned to grab his hands arms weapon and constrain his torso and legs.

Igos wakes up, and asks for a recap on what is going on. He checks to see if the stone finally arrived at Ikana.

Håkon keeps the golem calm, telling it that it was only an accident and that it's not to blame. He then searches the smashed chest.

Kemios follows the steps.

[Nexaduro]

"Is this what you were talking about, Ares? The golem? Heh, I suppose I'll go enjoy myself then."

 

Nexaduro temporarily separates the golem from it's bindings to the bar, then has it pick him up and run towards the giant golem.

 

When Nexaduro gets within view, he begins forming giant pointed boulders, and hurling them with sound and wind magic at the distant golem while his golem continues running towards it.

Also, I'm still on it's shoulders as I toss the projectiles.

Earth-

You see an astonishingly large golem.

 

Umbra-

He continues to slash through the shadow barbs before they can get any real hold. He stands back up.

 

Rocco-

The golem turns away from you, and starts walking towards the Ivory tower.

 

Igos-

You hear rumbling. You look outside and see a collosal golem walking past Ikana.

 

Hakon-

The golem is unintelligent.

There is nothing inside the smashed chest.

 

Kemios-

The steps seem to continue into the mountains to the north of the Ivory tower. You think that persuing the protolich now would be a bad idea, due to the large tremors coming from the south.

 

Nexaduro-

"Maybe."

 

The golem picks you up and begins moving towards the figure on the horizon. You wont be there for another few minutes though.(3)

[Earth]

i go to the ivory tower to warn them that a golem is coming to them. i then attack the golem with the rusty sword.

I summon them from behind to constrain him, and try choke him with some, while I use caladburn's energy swing and a few dark bolts aimed at his face.

[Jehosaphat]

Kemios decides to go back to the tavern and look for something else that would be interesting to do.

[Nexaduro]

Gotta go. I give reasonable control of my character to Hakon.

[Earth]

meh. actually, after i see if the sword does anything other than kill things, im gonna go look for something else. i really dont feel like fighting another uber golem.

Nex, I'm going to sleep now so I don't just do it on accident.

 

Håkon uses the rest of the session to teach the golem both in inteligence and magic.

Rocco-

You follow the golem, which stamps across a forest and over several hills. It is seemingly going in a direct line to the Ivory tower.

 

Earth-

"We've fought golems before."

You are nowhere near the golem.

Umbra-

The man finally falls.

 

Kemios-

You ask about something interesting, but it is drowned out by people screaming about a huge monstrosity walking towards the Ivory Tower.

 

Nex-

Sorry, I don't do multi charactering.

[Earth]

i go to the golem, then when i reach it, i swing my rusty sword at it.

If dead, I loot him

 

If not, I unleash fury at his body until he dies.

Igos follows the golem at a reasonable distance.

Grim examines the area around the mountains (I am not exactly worried about the ivory tower they can handle a golem like this easily). He also charges a fire attack. (@Kemios attacking a proto lich alone would almost certainly be suicide)

[Earth]

rocco, i already warned the mages. WILL PEOPLE LOOK AT OTHER ROLLS? or are you just telling them its an uber golem?

[Earth]

oh. meh, whatever.

Kemios find the giant golem (shouldn't be too hard) and starts throwing sound bolts at it with the aid of his staff.

 

Also, Grim, what on earth makes you think I'd attack the protolich? Sell it something, become its apprentice, beg it for learning, whatever, but I sure wouldn't be bluntly stupid enough to attack it.

[Seraphi]

Before anybody can get to the Ivory tower, the golem stands before it. It lifts it's arm, and a large amount of energy is drawn into it. The Ivory mages begin fleeing the tower, but only about 20 make it out before the golem launches a blast which destroys the tower. Its magnificent white parapets changed to smouldering rubble in an instant.

 

Earth-

The sword snaps in two.

 

Umbra-

The man is not carrying any valuables. His armour appears to be of average quality.

 

Igos-

You stand and watch as the Ivory tower is shattered.

 

Rocco-

You stare in awe at the black stain where the Ivory tower used to be, and you don't think you made it in time.

 

Grim-

The other side of the mountains appears a lot colder. It is snowing quite heavily. You charge a fire attack, which grows unstable.

 

Kemios-

You hit the golem a bit. +.2 sound.
