im up fighting the gant demon thingy.. alone.. i ask it "liches? i would like to become a lich.. but whatever. why did you destroy the ivroy tower?" i try to create a bow that can shoot acid arrows without harm to the bow.

Your geomancy detects nothing. Absolutely nothing. Of course this doesn't mean it's normal, but the scan doesn't reveal a thing. The shield of light doesn't seem bright, making you think it won't be effective.

"Those fools...they would not stand up to the Liches when they were given the chance, prefering to hide away in their tower. Enough, we shall fight!"

 

The Archineer slices the bow you were making in half, and before you can react, strikes your left shoulder.

" and i thought it was the corrupeted demi god they were keeping in their basement.." i heal my shoulder, and throw acid, necrobombs, and slash at him with my axe.

Grim attempts to do a scan with fire magic to detect heat before cautiously moving down the slope checking for enemies/traps as he goes (Level 1 light magic [finally])

You manage to heal your shoulder, before throwing the various bombs. They don't seem to faze him, and instead leave the area in a poisonous mist, which you start choking on. Despite all of this, you swing your axe at the figure, who parries easily with one sword and stabs you in the knee with the other.

Your scan detects no heat anywhere, even though you feel quite warm. You move down the slope, but you don't sense anything out of place. Currently, you are standing near the edge of the lake.

[Earth]

i dispell the mist, heal my knee, and charge at him with my axe. (well, im going to die..)

[Grim_]

(Hmmm) Grim charges a fire attack and looks around. He attempts to put spikes made out of light facing outwards from his neck.

[Retech]

You dispel the mist and heal your knee quite easily. You charge him with your axe and manage to chop off his arm, which promptly reattaches itself to his body. He slashes you in an X fashion over your torso, leaving you severely wounded.

Your staff glows brightly with the infusion of energy, lighting the cavern brightly, before dimming. In the brief instance of clarity, you see a small rowboat tethered to a large rock by a strange rope. The light doesn't seem to manifest.

yeah... uhm.. is there any way to beat this guy?... i hel myself, and try to throw him onto his shard sphere.(the cage thingy surrounding the platform.)

[Grim_]

Grim goes over to the rowboat checking for enemies/traps as he goes. He summons a barrage of fireballs from his pendant as well.

Of course there's a way, but he's pretty straightforward.

 

 

You manage to stop the blood loss, but your torso is still pretty damaged. When you attempt to pick him up, your hands are singed by the hot metal, and you fall backwards. Thankfully, you manage to roll to the side after he tries to stab you.

You head over to the rowboat with no problem, summoning the fireballs along the way. You notice that the rope seems to pull light out of the very air around it.

[Grim_]

Grim gets in the rowboat and checks for paddles. If there are some he unties the rope with force magic. If that fails he slashes it with one of his dilithium swords.

[Earth]

i meant to say push him with my axe.. but... i try to monkey punch him (sucker-punch overhanded.) and then use my axe to shove him into the shard field. (cage thingy surounding platform.)

You get into the rowboat just fine, and you find a single double-sided paddle. It seems to hum with energy, as does the rowboat. You don't manage to untie the rope from the rock or the boat, and your dilithium swords merely bounce off.

 

-Earth

 

He grabs your arm and twists it, making you cry out in pain. Then he lifts you and throws you, nearly causing you to fall off the platform to your death. He begins walking slowly towards you.

[Grim_]

Grim attempts to use geomancy to shrink the rock and pull the rope into the boat. He then attempts to ascertain the powers of the paddle.

[Earth]

i say "now that wasnt very nice... now was it?" i throw my axe at him, and an acid bolt right after it. i then charge himto get my axe.

[Grim_]

(Ermm earth could you not just destroy the platform under him?)

The rock is easily shrunken and the rope is pulled into the boat. It seems rather cold to the touch. The paddle seems quite the opposite, rather warm, though you don't understand its properties.

You impale his torso with your axe, which causes him to be rather gangly in his movements. The acid bolt further widens the hole, forcing him to kneel. You pull out your axe from his torso, and it begins regenerating.

its called axes, retech... i start bashing him with my axe, and using acid to keep him fromk rgeenerating. i also use acid on his swords.

Grim attempts to cut off the part of the boat the rope is tied to if it is not all to important and store it in hammerspace. He then paddles to the other side or any island.

If I can stay out of their range, I walk away while forming the wings and spear. If not, I teleport out of the underworld and form the wings and spear.

He manges to recover, though the hole is still there. He parries your axe, forcing you to retreat backwards. Blow after blow rains down, and you barely manage to block with your axe. You are teetering on the edge now.

You remove the part of the boat with your craftsmenship, doing such a good job that you can't even see the boat part. You find a small island, roughly twenty feet in diameter. There appears to be another rope hanging from a hole in the ceiling, probaly the way to the top of the hill. A strange noise emanates from the waters...

You teleport out of the underworld and form the wing and spear. The spear isn't as good as you hoped it would be, and you haven't even tried the wings yet, so you can't tell how that turned out.

i try to dodge around him, and then shove him with my axe over the edge.

I try to go on a brief test flight, doing a running takeoff over solid ground, and also try to perfect the spear (it's a kind of winged spear, by the way, and a relatively long one). If necessary, I use aeromancy to enchant my wings so that they draw/create rising air currents.
