and attempts to coat them using shadow and dark magic to create a permanent shadow/dark robe

Umbra buys a robe for 100g, then succeeds in his magic and creates a dark coated robe.

I begin to meditate to hone my dark and shadow magic skills, how long will this take?

Jen attempts to channel her ice magic energy to mainly her left side (side of the normal heart) and channeling the anti magic (water energy) to her right side (the side of the artificial heart.)

 

Afterwards (if she succeeds), then she attempts to summon a very weak ice elemental and very weak water elemental which cannot attack as a test with her respective arms to see if she can control them individually, without losing control because magic cancels out anti-magic.

Wont work. Both hearts pump blood around the body, so they both pump the magical energy to both sides, no matter which side each is on.

Wouldn't that screw up my anatomy? I thought the other heart was just on the right side (since the real heart is mostly on the left side).

Jen attempts to dichotomise herself such that each heart only supplies half of the body. This also means that you'd have to stab her on both sides to kill her.

Jen asks the mages to standby while she bifurcates her blood system non-magically using her power stone.

Thats atleast going to knock you unconscious for a while... your body gets used to that supply of blood so you will get really weak for a while until your body actually recuperates

Uuuh, there are limits as to what a power stone can accomplish. Anything which would not normally be possible for you cannot be accomplished using a power stone.

 

For example, using a power stone will not suddenly allow you to perform extensive surgery on yourself, but it would let you craft an awesome statue or a perfect shield or something.
