Igos-

As you busy yourselves making this massive weapon, the Spiders begin spinning a web to get over the palisade.

I attempt to switch to normal vision. I then look around.

Ares-

You run into a young man with a satchel.

Ares stops to say hello.

Archi continues to make the large mirror, while Igos decides to put off the convex lens till later. He goes to the palisade wall and begins using A VERY SMALL amount of pyrokinesis to burn the webs. (should only be a flicker)

Grim-

You succeed.

You seem to have a pipe shoved in your mouth and are suspended in some sort of liquid. Your hands and feet are bound and you appear to be in some sort of barrel. The liquid stings your eyes.

Ares-

The Man seems to freak out and draws a sword...he doesn't look particually adept with it.

Jen attempts to set up a special light communication system. Basically, there would be a giant lens and receiver on both sides, made of some crystaline structure like ice, with light bursts used like morse code.

 

So basically for her action, Jen tries to create a large free-standing lens ten or twenty feet away from her.

Igos-

How is Archi making this mirror?

 

Igos manages to slow the web building, but without bigger flames, with more of a risk to the palisade it will be completed soon.

Jen creates a poorly formed lens, which appears to be half melted.

Ares tells the person to calm down, while using dark energy focused on his palms to block the sword if the person should attack.

Erie. I attempt to teleport out of the barrel with my short range teleportation ring. I then check for my battle-staff and if I have it I bring my daemon prince in for the attack.

Ares-

The man seems even more frightened, but starts running away.

Grim-

You seem to have been stripped of all your worldly goods, and thus are still in the barrel.

Jen returns to the Ivory tower and asks to purchase an ice charging stone.

(I figured that he would be using glass + silver from the mines, using the solarmancy to smelt it.)

Igos begins to cut at the webs, and also tries to use his necro to drain the life from some of the spider's legs.

Jen-

They offer to sell you one for 15,000 gold pieces.

Ares checks if the person dropped anything. He then starts heading far north, avoiding roads and paths and sticking to forests.

Umbra uses the map to look for the chest.

Igos-

Cool

 

The webs are very thick and within moments your dagger is completely encased in silk.

You have more success with the necromancy and manage to slow the spiders down some more.

Ares-

He doesn't seem to have dropped anything.

 

Somehow you manage to walk into a patch of sinking sand(Well sinking soil but you get what I mean)

Umbra-

The map doesn't give an exact location, just a general area.

Ares uses geomancy to fling himself to the side.

He then decides against heading north and starts heading back towards New Exile.

I begin searching for the chest

I attempt to blast out of the barrel with force magic. If that fails I attempt to ignite the liquid with a bolt of fire. If that fails I pull the pipe inside and use it to bash my way out.
