January 4, 201016 yr I want to do some mining at the Chasm mine north of Al-Kharid, but the lvl-14 scorpions keep attacking me. So I wonder how high combat lvl I have to get before they stop auto attacking me? And also in general with other beasts, whats the differens between their level and yours when they stop attacking? Because I know at some level they won't attack you anymore... It just have to get somewhat higher then theirs... Thanks, jiggii.

January 4, 201016 yr From my observations you have to be one level above twice that monster's level. But some are aggressive no matter what. "I am interested in anything about revolt, disorder, chaos-especially activity that seems to have no meaning"- Jim Morrison
January 4, 201016 yr if you can survive for something like 15 minutes, they become non-aggressive. For mining you might never have 15 minutes before you bank... but its handy to know if you're doing something like, range or mage, and you want to safe spot 'em. 99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me! ♪♪ Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thoughtHave some respect for someone more forgetful than yourself ♪♪♪♪ And I'm not doneAnd I won't be till my head falls off ♪♪
January 4, 201016 yr You need to be double their combat level +1. Some monsters, however, will always be aggressive no matter what combat level. EG. If the scorpions are level 14, you need to be level 29. Al Kharid isn't even the best place to bank ores anyway. Try either of the Varrock mines.
