I logged into Runescape today and found that it was odd that I didn't see the old message that tells you the G.E. has updated, so I ran over there. Only to find that all my offers are gone.

 

I checked my bank, didn't find them, check the "collect" on the banker to see if it was there, still couldn't find anything... Checked the history and it says I didn't even buy them. Now before I logged yesterday I knew how much money I had, as I put in a offer for 500k fire runes, bought the usually 25k instantly and logged off hoping tomorrow (now) I'd have most if not all of them.

 

I check the IP on my account every time I log in and it was my own, and no one in my house even plays Runescape so no one could of logged into my account and did anything with them. I tried logging in and out, even changing worlds and nothing. I also check my other account and it's offers were updated and still there.

 

Has anyone heard of this happening or had this happen to them? I'm reporting it to Jagex right now, but I doubt they will do anything for me.

I don't know of any such glitch but I CAN imagine (though never experienced) something could glitch if you just put in your items in G.E. then lag out and then maybe the system doesn't know what happened to the items so they could be 'disappeared'

This is what I was thinking. I've put it offers and then lagged out and when I come back on, the offer was never made and the stuff was in my inventory, even though I had already confirmed an offer before the lag.

Of course, I've never had my offers "vanish".

 

Report it to Jagex, and then move on because they certainly won't do anything for you.

Bad luck mate. Could always post on the RSOF in a mod thread, but chances are low that a mod can or even has time to help. There are just so many freaking players that a mod can't listen to every single complaint sadly.

 

Hopefully your bug report will prevent further happenings of this in the future though.

I doubt a bug report will be useful as it's hard to reproduce, but a similiar thing happened to me before. Gotta swallow the loss and move on really.
