Sigil Drop Rates

I'm just curious as to what the drop rate for a Sigil is from Corp.

I know that everything is just random and luck, but of course there is some sort of a drop rate that people know about. I used to know it but I forgot lol.

 

I am also interested in the rate for Elixirs, please post :)

According to some people in OTG:

 

Spectral+Arcane are 1/350

 

Divine+Ely are 1/700.

 

That is from some 2.2k+ logged corpie kills.

I've heard anywhere from 1/300-1/400 for Spec and Arcane, and 1/500-1/1000 (mostly around 1/700) for Divine + Elysian.

• to be 95% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 360.
  
• to be 75% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 165.
  
• to be 50% sure you will get a sigil you should kill 83.

I'm not sure how you got them numbers but I calc an average of 1 sigil ever 189 kills and my binomial distribution numbers also get other numbers :P.

 

With my 1:189 luck I get:

If you kill 80 corps, there's a 34.6% chance to get a sigil

120 corps give 47% chance

189 corps give 63.3%

360 corps give 85.2%

Blade, I believe it is more like 1-350 to get EITHER an arcane or a spectral, or 1-700 to get EITHER a divine or ely. At least, from what I have heard from OTG.

Okay thats very interesting :P

I have logged 195 kills with only seeing 4 elixirs, so I am going to assume I still have around 165 more kills before I see a sigil haha

I am at 80+ hours, with at least 10 kills an hour, maybe more, and I've only seen a spectral.

The math is correct, the drop rate assumptions may be incorrect, and I used only what another player said.
