I thought it was law that you HAD to on request? That's why sites like Facebook have got into trouble in the past for retaining information after people have "closed" their accounts. Edit Laikrob: Just wanted to reply to this. Facebook mainly contains personal information - Tip.It does not. We actually have quite strict rules about that, so it is a whole different matter. Also, Facebook has been in the grey area of privacy laws and sold people's "private" pictures (they are online, so anyone can see them anyway) and information to advertising companies and similar.
