Because it's def stats are barely better than neitiznot, and neitiznot gives str and pray bonus.

kk that makes sense.... now i just have to do the quests that go with them.... :P

Yea the d med is only slightly better than rune full helm(not even worth the extra 40k) and like stated earlier the Nezzy helm has both a Str bonus and Prayer Bonus along with better stats.

Thanks! Is the quest to get the helm of neitiznot hard? Killing the Ice King and all (or something with an ice monster)? My stats are below, so please tell me what you think...

 

And I've done the Monkey Madness quest, so I guess compare this quest to that one ;)

Well when the quest came out i beat the queen on my first try, but my stats were 20+ over yours.

Because if I wanted defense I would wear a Verac's Helmet, which has greatly superior defense stats, as well as +3 prayer.

It's not too bad. I believe my stats were around the 70's mark (maybe just a tad higher, not sure). I ranged the Monkey Madness monster with the help of the gnomes, so that was a piece of cake, this fight was tougher for me, but like I said, if you get your stats to the 70 (str, def, atk), you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

ok, and yeah i'll most likely get 70 in attk and def before doing the quest... ;)

My favorite helmet is the Slayer Helmet. But out of those choices i would wear a Neitznot. Or if defense isn't a problem maybe the Void Melee Helmet. If needing more defense then I'd agree with bladewing and wear the Verac's helmet.
