Warning: posting info on Legend's & City's

Just a free word of warning about posting nice pictures of your city(s), hide the building levels & don't give away the amount of resources you have or troops. In fact posting almost any information about your game can just be a free spy report to people looking. At the moment it's only a beta so it don't really matter, but in the long run this game will grow so think about what you're posting before you post it, people will use your information against you & this is a public forum.

 

I've been looking through here & well if I was to search some of you in game, & found you near me you'd be very easy picking's you'd have no idea I was planning an attack because I don't need to spy, you've given me more then enough information on here about how weak you are lol, so just a word of warning if your looking to not get attack guy's and girl's be careful about what you post & how you go about it.

Hmm good point, however most people here are part of the Golden Horde alliance so I think if one person decided to start invading our cities they might face a group of angry people. It might be wise to blur out the location of one's city though just as a small precaution.

Even blurring out a city's location isn't enough, most of us have our account names right there on the left displayed, they'd only have to search us. Even in a large Alliance there are those rivals that can use the information to take advantage.

 

I currently play on the Golden Temple server, only one I've ever played on I started about 11 days ago, but I plan to join Golden Horde once we leave beta & they set up on the finished product, anyway just as long as people are aware that there info could be used against them, I used to play Tribal War's about 4 year's back, I ran the biggest tribe on our server at the time we had things like this happen to people. In the beta it might not be so bad, but its once the game leaves beta & it grows more popular it becomes a bit more serious especially if you're putting into the game. So just take note of what you're letting loss on here guy's & have fun!

 

It is a strategy game after all, & once word gets round that the Golden Horde is a TIF thing it wont take long for them to know were to look for the members, & you don't want to get caught displaying your bits in public ;)

I don't like the idea of concealing my city because of that. I want to share it and what I have in the game with people here on TIF. I suggest people block their exact coordinates though.

 

It all comes down to if you trust the members of TIF, and I do. Of course we can't stop outsiders being nosy or even our people - but I'm personally willing to take the risk.

I'm still waiting for somebody to actually attack me, or at least spy on me. Chances are my Watchtower will kill there spies anyways considering the level of the tower, and if they ever do decide to try and attack they would be sent back home because my Ramparts are nifty as well. All in all, I've got no worries posting my pictures on Tif. Oh yeah, and because of my warehouses, they would most likely leave empty handed if they did end up killing me.

 

Maybe I'm just bored of not having somebody to fight.

 

 

Although, yeah I'd give a warning to most people. Don't post your coods if you are worried of a fight :)
