Nechs

I've done nech tasks before and I know they're kinda slow and a bit boring, but they're good exp etc. Just wondering if I can powerslay them with piety and profit from them...... Also what set up to use, because they can hit hard sometimes I think.

Any info/ideas on this would be great..... Especially a setup and invo.

Cheers.

Chin them in ct

Not really a big fan of ranging; but.... I'm willing to give it a shot as long as I don't need something silly like void or a tonne of chins......

Its a fair few chins, but its a lot of exp as well as charms.

It uses void, but its easy to replace with normal ranging gear, just make sure you use reds and not greys for max speed.

Nechs give great profit, so it's entirely possible to chin, burst or barrage them and make some profit or at the very least only lose a little. If you prefer melee, a good powerslaying method is to bring a combat familiar to help and lure the nechs on to you, while you pray melee and piety or termoil; it's a fast and possibly fun method.

Yea I'm looking more towards the melee method as ranged isn't my forte.... don't have the patience for it unless I cannon.... What'd be a good setup to piety them?

Normal melee gear, wear prosy instead of a chest and legs. Bring a bunyip. You can either piety the whole task, or piety and prot melee the task. You will still take some damage from the death spawns so the bunyip is needed.

WAY better to take a combat familiar and a few pieces of food.

Ya it might be, but idk many combat familiars that are good at 68 summoning.

I am willing to get my summoning up. Bit pointless it being at 68 when for the long haul I want 88.

BUT: Changing the topic a bit, if I were to get a combat familiar which should I?

Also any idea how much it'll cost and to what level I can get with:

5015 Gold

3349 Green

1914 Crim

291 Blue

They've been sitting in my bank a while looking at me funny and I want them gone so I can build up another pile for 88....... But I only have 17m and wouldn't want to spend more than 7M on summoning......

Easily. I do a task of 200'ish nechs in an hour with turmoil. I use SW cape, V skirt, and Prossy top. Of course, profit is fairly varied at nechs. I get tasks where I get 200k, and others where I get 600k+. However, since I only use ~100k in prayer pots a task, and the time saved is great, its worth it.

For me when i did 68-79 summoning it cost me around 16m or so, i also made about 4k fruit bats. Now you probably spend a little less then that. I would look at Kent's guide to summoning and use that as an outline for what pouches to make. What i did was make barker toads from my golds, after using those i had 69-70 and made fruit bats after that. If i wasn't 74 summoning yet i made stranger plants until i was. After i hit 74 i made granite lobsters. Depending on where i was at, i made the best blue charm i could to get the last few levels.

If you can get to 79 i would use a fire titan as it gives magic exp and i rather get that then get att/str exp. But it is up to you. At 68 i think i used an obby golem, but it didn't seem to help me much.
